A lonely horse grazes in a field in Medjugorje. Our Lady chose as the background for the last apparitions on earth, an agrarian village, where life was made on the land, and a connection to God the Creator was manifest. What does this tell us about the manifestation of Her messages?
A Friend of Medjugorje has felt a close connection to God the Creator. Our Lady of Medjugorje said in his home through Marija, during a midnight apparition, December 24, 1988, which extended into Christmas Day, December 25, 1988:
This is the only message that Our Lady of Medjugorje has said the word “creation”. The life which manifested out of a Friend of Medjugorje’s desire to make his life the messages, has manifested in the way the Community of Caritas lives. A Friend of Medjugorje explains during the September 25, 2018, Radio WAVE broadcast titled, Holy Mary, Fall on Me:
“…We aligned ourselves with the agrarian way of life, not the modern way of life. Yes, we use technology, but it doesn’t use us. Here, at Caritas, our faith is in our work, and our work is in our faith. That’s how to summarize the message. That’s what you have to change your life to…”
Caritas, over the past 32 years, has grown into the largest Medjugorje center in the world, and we operate it without cell phones! Many think in a modern world, that technology is an end in itself. When first laying the groundwork for our site, Medjugorje.com, over 18 years ago, a Friend of Medjugorje made very clear his intentions:
“We want to use the internet to lead people to prayer, so that in praying more, they may be led away from the internet.”
Be led to prayer and in doing so, be led to God the Creator. Technology is not an end in itself. If one must use it, do not let it use you and dictate your life.
