Are you memory“ing” tonight?
December 31, 2015 A.D.
Are you memory“ing” your transition from 2015 to 2016?
Every year, the Caritas Community gathers in prayer to transition in the new year. This is a tradition that the founder of Caritas began with his family before the Community was started. When you gather for a holy purpose, you not only receive the grace of prayer, but, God also gives you joy, for you will never experience togetherness like you can when you gather for a holy reason in prayer. It is like Medjugorje visionary Ivan said about prayer groups, a principle that is true for any relationship, that you grow closer to each other by praying together, than by talking to each other.
While many spend their New Year’s eve in party“ing” in a worldly way, Our Lady is showing in Her messages to be memory“ing” these moments in prayer. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on December 31, 1984:
“When you hear the bells at midnight, you will fall on your knees, bow your head to the ground so that the King of Peace will come. This year I will offer my peace to the world. But afterwards, I will ask you where you were when I offered you my peace.”
We are being offered Mercy this year. Tonight, New Year’s Eve, in this Year of Mercy, think of when 2016 ends. Will you have memoried this evening tonight in a holy way? The founder of Caritas, his family and the Caritas Community will be remembering all of you in prayer tonight as we memory this moment together in prayer and love.

I want to thank all you of the Caritas community for all the work you do and for the insight and wisdom I have found in each an every writing and talk from this wonderful website. In just a short while I have come to really understand what the purpose of life really is – to bring glory and honor to God our Father by living a life of loving obedience! So simple to say yet so tough to do at times. Thank you for teaching me the value the power and the joy that comes from fasting. True love from the heart makes all the difference!!! I have never been to Caritas and I don’t know any of you personally but I sincerely love you all. Thank you for ‘responding to Our Lady’s call’ the the way you do and for spreading Her love to all who will accept it. I will be praying for Gods blessing on all of you during this new year of His mercy.
Although we will likely not make it to midnight, we will be in unity with Caritas, saying our rosary together for peace and Our Lady’s intentions for all. Hugs to the Community from your ‘family’ in WI. Katie and Pat
Dear Family in Caritas, This was the second year that we were on our knees in union with you in memory”ing” our transition to the new year. Thank you so much for this inspiration. Since we had done it last year, we prepared more for this year with an hour of visit to the Blessed Sacrament earlier in the night. Truly Our Blessed Mother led us to the messages that is very personal to us, to our own situation, physically and spiritually. There is no other place I’d rather be, but in our knees, in union with Caritas Family, in front of our family altar. To the Community of Caritas and the Field Angels, Happy Days after Christmas and Merry Rest of the Year. with our love and prayers, Art, Babes and Family
