Our Lady said in Medjugorje on May 2, 2016:
Secular events like the recent Brexit, the U.K.’s exit from the European Union, have a Biblical worldview interpretation to them. A Friend of Medjugorje covered this topic in the recent Mejanomics broadcast, ISIS Knows It and You Don’t. This is what a listener from the U.K. wrote following the broadcast:
“…I am a UK national and I was just listening to the Mejanomics broadcast on the Brexit. I cannot tell you how relieved many of us over here are! We fully expected to lose the referendum because the government, the banks and our Chancellor of the Exchequer (like your head of the Fed) were all scaremongering – trying to frighten us off doing the right thing for OUR nation. Even your President [Obama] was asked to get involved and told us we would be back of the queue for trade deals. On the morning of the vote I prayed that the nation would do the right thing, whatever that was. On the evening of the vote the opinion polls were saying a win for our Prime Minister but just as he was going off to bed, thinking he had won, the first results came in – and they shocked the government. Instead of going to bed the Prime Minister stayed up and began to consider what he would have to do if he did lose. As more results came in shock began to grip the finance markets. The had previously rallied to 1.50 against the dollar but suddenly it plummeted as doubts began to creep in. Imagine my utter delight when I woke at 6 AM after (3 hours sleep) to the headline ‘UK votes to leave the EU’. I felt my prayers had been answered. Thank God and Our Lady for the grace of this result. May it please the Lord to breakup the corrupt, anti-democratic union called the EU (look what it did to Greece) – which the UK never voted for in the first place. Our leaders took us from a Common Market (which was good) to a corrupt union without asking the people. Now, I hear, some good people in America are telling the U.S. government to act properly with its closest ally, recognizing that we too have shed blood alongside you for the freedom of the world. Alleluia!“
