Description of Mirjana’s Apparition
from the Community of Caritas in Medjugorje
Today in Medjugorje, on the second of every month, it is beautiful to see thousands of pilgrims streaming into Our Lady’s village a day or two before for the purpose of attending Mirjana’s apparitions. Our Lady’s call to pray for nonbelievers on this day was certainly heard around the world, as the crowds have dramatically increased over the years since Mirjana’s second of the month apparitions became public. There were about 15 pilgrims who spent the night at the Blue Cross awaiting Our Lady’s arrival with a vigil night spent in prayer. One of these reported that around 3:00 a.m. several bus loads of Italian pilgrims arrived, filling up the areas immediately surrounding the Blue Cross. They began to pray the Rosary and continued for the next six hours until Our Lady’s apparition. Small groups of pilgrims began arriving continually in the early morning hours, the darkness and the threatening rain clouds were not a deterrent. How much love for Our Lady in these hearts that gave up a good night’s rest to be near to Our Lady in Her apparition today.
Mirjana arrived around 8:30 a.m. Because of the thick crowds of people around the Blue Cross it is always a challenge for Mirjana to squeeze through, but she always does so with patience and graciousness, squeezing hands as she goes by. When she finally came before Our Lady’s statue, she knelt down and entered into her own private thoughts. She kept her eyes downcast, not looking around at the crowds.
Mirjana goes from being somewhat distracted by the crowds, looking slightly nervous or anxious, to slowly being overtaken by a deep peace. Several times she was seen taking deep breaths and wiping her eyes. And then she lifted her arms, crossing them over her chest, and a beautiful expression came over her face, but her eyes were still downcast. In the very next moment, however, her arms came out, her head lifted up and the smile on her lips and in her eyes told those who could see her that Our Lady had arrived. The apparition began around 8:45 a.m. and lasted approximately 8 minutes. So many emotions were displayed on Mirjana’s face in those few moments: grief and sadness, pleading and resignation, joy and peace. When the apparition ended, Mirjana took some minutes to compose herself and then gave a gesture to say that she was ready to dictate Our Lady’s words.
Though it is always difficult to fully process the words when you can hear them only briefly amidst the distractions that comes with being with such a tremendous crowd, the expressions of the faces of many of the pilgrims as they listened revealed that the words had made an impact. There were looks of concern, sorrow, even pain on some faces, while others simply wept silently. And all the while the messages were being read in the various languages, Mirjana sat silently with a tired and sad expression on her face. Mirjana had added with her description of the message that Our Lady had appeared very sad in the apparition today.
There was some commotion during the reading of Our Lady’s messages and apparently many people saw the sun dancing amidst the clouds. Though it was not like the miracle of the sun that took place on August 2nd of this year, it was pulsating strongly enough to cause a small sensation in the crowds this morning.

This week we have learned a lot. We learned that we are in very serious trouble in a higher way. We learned that more than a few of those who call themselves Our Lady’s children have blinded themselves to serious sin. Today, Our Lady of Medjugorje’s message confirms what we have learned.

Message to Mirjana Soldo Given on the Day for Non-Believers
What did we learn this week that Our Lady’s above message confirmed? We learned that we cannot call sin, sin. Yes, many things you can identify as sin. But there is one sin that many people, including some Medjugorje people, say a person cannot say is a sin. Those who do identify it as sin are labeled hateful, uncompassionate, twisting the Scriptures, mean, judgmental, and many other names. We learned this after writing which was published online on Monday, September 26th called, “Betrayal.” In disbelief, we learned that some of Our Lady’s children not only tolerate depraved sin, but have “justified themselves according to it,” as Our Lady of Medjugorje just stated in Her message today. The writing, which is posted online, is Biblically clear, is written with the facts, cannot be disputed, and is in accordance with the Catechism, yet some of Our Lady’s children reject it. Even if only one did, it is one too many.
One wrote to us in regard to the September 26, 2009, writing, “Betrayal”:
“I was born a Catholic in Medjugorje. This article makes me ashamed of this fact.”
You can point out the sin of stealing, adultery, coveting a neighbor’s goods, etc., but one sin is so justified and/or tolerated by a portion of people, that just to mention it brings forth rage from even some who call themselves Our Lady’s children, Her followers. The writing, “Betrayal,” shows to what depth the cultures of the world have “sunk” and is confrimed through Our Lady’s message today, “you justify yourselves with sin and live according to it.” There are those doctors who commit the grave sin of abortion, but the mothers also commit murder. Yes, divorce used to be a sin, but is now justified. Many of the youth live a routine life of sin as if it were normal. Yet, all of these bring little objection if one would attempt to correct these sins in culture. But the one who tries to correct the one sin, written strongly about in “Betrayal,” of abominable lifestyles, he receives contempt, disdain, and becomes even the object of rage as this grossly depraved sin is justified.
What have we “sunk so deeply into” that we do not recognize that man has reached the peak of sin; that it’s “God come back time?” Sin, a culture permeated with sin, graduated through the destruction of the family. The abortion of the intact family cannot but eventually graduate to the sin of abortion itself, leading finally to the abortion of God in the culture. Then there is a higher level of graduation to the total destruction of society, graduating to the “God come back time,” abomination against natural law. God must deal with this sin, because once man graduates to the peak sin, which permeates society, there is no turning back. Rather, it is left to us only one option which is to answer the call of God to flee as Lot and Abram left Sodom in great haste before its destruction came.
But what about abortion? Though abortion is a heinous crime, it is still a crime within the natural act as abortion results through procreation. Thereby, man still has a chance to change. However, the exploding growth, acceptance, and justification of the perverse sin of abominable living, the rearrangement of marriage, and all the vileness and wickedness that goes with it has society peaked as a sin that is so unnatural that it does not contain the least traces of the attributes of procreation. The sin of abortion contains the act of procreation, which is interrupted, through the act of murder. That, in no way, says abortion is measured on a scale less than abomination, rather it says the peak is what this sin gives way to. Abominable lifestyles are against natural law and they do not interrupt procreation because the sin is so depraved and totally absent of the natural order. We see in reading the Bible that many times in history God had to act to purify cities, whole cultures, and even the world was when sin peaked out by this depravity.
Do not think, “I’m not that way or even for it, but I am compassionate towards this practice,” as if it’s only a small thing. It is historical that all civilizations who reach this point implode or are destroyed. To be tolerant of this sin is to be in collaboration with it. It is yours and your children’s future at stake. You jeopardize the whole culture, as Our Lady says, “permit me to help you not to die.” We are at a crisis moment. Our Lady wants us to choose to change the direction of our path, so, in the time of grace, we can be as Lot and Abram who went to live in a more sane environment when they left the city of Sodom. Of course, there is a mentality of those who refuse to change, who refuse to begin a new life and when the time of grace is over, God will purify that which refused to be purified. Is this attached to the secrets? Of course. Our Lady wants to purify you of all sin now. She is asking permission to purify your hearts. Do not wait. We must realize the toleration of sin and the acceptance of sinful lifestyles places one collaboration with the depravity and, therefore, makes one guilty of the sin. He who accepts the sin in others hates the sinner. You, in reality, reverse what Jesus taught. You do nothing to convict them. If Jakov said that he does not want his worst enemy to go to hell, why would one not be clear in contradicting and stating what is sin to others, thereby helping them on a way not to die forever? To point out sin, especially, is to hate the sin and love the sinner. But many, and yes even among those who call themselves Our Lady’s children, tolerate and accept sin as a style of life. You, therefore, love the sin and you, therefore, in front of God hate the sinner. Yes, there are many other kinds of sin – hate, lust, vices, etc. – that we must also consider as painful to Our Lady, but this one sin in which culture begins to destroy itself is a great cause for the heart of Our Lady to be seized with pain for She knows the outcome of not only those who commit the sin, but also for you who tolerate this sin. As Our Lady said, “…Where are you going my children?…”, we all will see when this time of grace is over, the world’s culture will be purified.
Our Lady of Medjugorje is preparing us for Jesus. She wants sin out of our lives. We must read Scripture to help us to know what sin is. We must pray and fast to break from sin. Many talk about Jesus coming back and reigning upon the earth. Some think there may be a second redemption. There are others who think that Jesus will rule upon the earth for one thousand years. Jesus’ second coming will be a final coming. No, there will not be a second redemption. He gave to us, the first time, everything we needed for redemption. While man may be in need of redemption many times, even a thousand times, Christ’s single act of redemption is sufficient. Man, when he falls from grace through weakness, can by his own will, be redeemed, drawing forth from the inexhaustible gift Christ gave us the first time, through His suffering, death, and resurrection. Since there will be no second redemption, as with the first, will there be a second evangelization as there was a first that was sparked by the event of Christ’s birth? Yes, there will. Jesus will not come personally, but He will evangelize a second time, just as he did the first, except this time through His Mother, the Woman of Light, the Woman of Genesis, the Woman of Wisdom, and the Woman of Revelation. “She,” the Bearer of Christ, has come, will come, and is the only One capable of reversing the downward spiral the world is sinking into. It is She who said:

Christ, through His Mother, His Mother through us, will evangelize. An awakening of the spirit is already beginning. The foundation for this spiritual revival is already being formed through the fire of tribulation for the second Great Full and Final Evangelization of the world. Final because, led by Our Lady, it will be complete, a “full” Evangelization capable of enduring until the end of the world. Who will be its apostles? Those who withstand the trial; those who will lay their job on the line; those who will do small acts of charity, despite possible negative results; those who are willing to live martyrdom when death would be a relief, but live on day in and day out; cross-bearers voluntarily, when it would be easier to lay the cross down. Men, in this glorious time, this season of holiness, this time of joy, are beginning to recognize, who they are and Who is calling them.
We at Caritas in our Community, have prayed and fasted for years about the Great Second Evangelization for the world which the secrets will usher in. Everyone is called to pray and discern how Our Lady will use them. For our part, through prayer, we will be releasing for the first time through Medjugorje.com on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, plans for the Great Evangelization. These previous days in which we focused on the Ten Secrets was to inform and refresh your memory to give greater understanding of what very unique times we live in the history of man.

What is it like to see Our Lady “sad”? Most of us will never know that secret until we reach heaven. But Mirjana has said that if any of us had the opportunity to see Our Lady cry we couldn’t help but be moved to give Our Lady what She asks of us in our prayers and sacrifices. It’s enough to break one’s heart, as it appears Mirjana’s heart is breaking in the apparition today.
Mirjana can be seen at the foot of Our Lady’s statue while in ecstasy today at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje, October 2, 2009. This is just a very small portion of the pilgrims who attended today’s apparition. The site of the Blue Cross is one of the hallowed sites in Medjugorje as Our Lady has continually had apparitions here from the very earliest days of the apparitions to the present time.
Our Lady takes Her leave at the end of the apparition today to Mirjana, October 2, 2009. To see Our Lady leave is the most difficult experience for all the visionaries who long to be with Her in Heaven. It is a living martyrdom to have Our Lady in the apparitions, but to be separated from Her time after time after time and then go back living life on earth. You have only to look at Mirjana’s face to know the suffering of the souls in purgatory who long to be with God in Heaven, but who must wait.
These two scenes are the very moment Mirjana’s ecstasy began when Our Lady arrived in the apparition today, October 2, 2009, at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje. Mirjana had just crossed her arms in prayer and a deep peace came over her that was noticeable to those who could see her. Suddenly her arms stretched out as her head came up to see Our Lady before her. Mirjana’s husband in the striped shirt, Marco, can be seen praying behind her. He never looks at Mirjana while she is in ecstasy, but rather his head is bowed reverently in prayer throughout the apparition.
A portion of the petitions you sent to us can be seen in the above picture. It is a great joy to be able to bring your petitions to Our Lady and to lay them at Her feet for Her apparitions. Over 2,000 petitions were placed at the base of the Blue Cross where Our Lady appeared today, October 2, 2009, by the Community of Caritas members. Our mission’s efforts are active and unite you close to Our Lady in every way we can. Our Lady has told Marija to write petitions to Her. We, in turn, print them and place them in Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje and here at Caritas in both the Bedroom and the Field of Apparitions. The petitions are prayed over by the Community of Caritas at each location and also placed in Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje, as they were today. We know many of you are praying for the nonbelievers in your own families, as well as friends, and people you come into contact with everyday who are lost. You long for the day when they will come to know the love of God in their hearts. Our Lady gives us hope in Her message today. Don’t give up praying for them. I suffered from a (abominable) type relationship with a friend for many years. I felt like I had been cursed by God and kept it a secret. In the end I became an alcoholic chain smoker and even attempted suicide because of my sins. I am here to testify that you can be cured of (abominable) behavior by God. I asked God to save me and He did. I was miraculously cured from it completely and also alcoholism and chain smoking not to mention a sinful life by Our Lady of Medjugorje. Pray for healing.
I spent one hour in a preayer vigil in front of an abortion clnic for 40 Days of Life movement. Truly this message has meaning as I read the day after. This message hits home. Perhaps there is much that needs to be done inside each individual. Thank you for this message. I, like many need a renewal of our faith in Jesus. I say decades of the rosary when I’m bored or waiting, or can’t sleep. Sometimes the Rosary helps me sleep and the angels finish it for me. Thank you for being such a presence in the world. Reading your article and the hope it gives that our Blessed Mother will help us reminds me of what the priest said after Mass today. For some time now he has us singing the Salve Regina after Mass and on Fridays when the school children are there, and before we sing, he tells us what the words mean. today he emphasized that our Blessed Mother is the Mother of Mercy, our comfort and our hope. That gave me such consolation and I felt a special closeness to Her. Your article also gives me hope.

In as such, they will then be able to aid with Our Lady’s further ablution of our world. I am not a Catholic and yet I fully accept that Christ took away the sins of the world (including mine) by taking to the Cross; which in itself is a great motivation for me to change as much as poosible. Let’s pray for all!

Make me a believer who does not doubt anything in God. I have to pray harder everyday. I pray tonight that God will listen to me again. For He can touch anyone with the slightest, maybe. Thank you for Medjugorje website and Our Lady’s messages. The words really stood out for me in this article when it says, He who accepts the sin in others hates the sinner. I think we as Christians have remained quiet too long. I also have been sharing the article, Betrayal and it speaks the truth that we must not ignore. I love Our Lady and Jesus, my Lord and savior. This is a wonderful site and messages are so appropriate for our times. I would like to see this site advertised in our catholic newspapers. Maybe even in the secular media. EWTN should have a special on this with Raymond Arroyo as it’s what our culture needs to hear. So many “catholics” are unaware of even the meaning of Holy Mass, much less of confession and absolution. Therefore, what is happening in Medjugorje is oblivious to them and Our Lady’s message is not taken by everyone who pray

You speak the TRUTH, This very morning I read in my morning paper “strategies to topple prop.8 in 2010 begin” (abominable marriage)., led by Archbishop Mark Shirilau, who heads the (abominable)-oriented Ecumenical Catholic Church.
