Patrick and Nancy Latta, who converted through the Medjugorje messages, and moved to Medjugorje in 1993, began building the Sacred Heart Retreat House in 1997. The retreat house, also known as “The Castle,†is a medieval village with a medieval castle in the center. At the retreat house they host Catholic priests, nuns and seminarians. The Lattas tell their story of conversion through Medjugorje to those that visit their property in Medjugorje, to help them change the direction of their lives through Medjugorje. Anyone who has visited “The Castle†in Medjugorje has experienced Our Lady’s love.
