Today, November 19, 1988, 28 years ago, is the day that Our Lady first appeared in the founder of Caritas and his wife’s home.

On November 19, 1988, 28 years ago, Our Lady first appeared in the founder of Caritas and his wife’s home. Through Marija’s own words when she walked into the founder and his wife’s bedroom as Marija was being shown around the house:
“This is where the apparitions will take place…”
Thus began a path in which over 100,000 people have visited the holy apparition site in Alabama. This year, during the Year of Mercy, the founder of Caritas and his wife opened their home once a month so that people would have an opportunity to pray and Consecrate their hearts, and their families to Our Lady. This year, has been filled with many graces. So much focus recently has been on the U.S. Presidential election, no doubt, a great victory for Our Lady. However, as was seen back in 1988, the real healing takes place first in the family. The Bedroom of Apparitions has come to represent the healing of families throughout the whole world.
