The Resting Place
Opened early and closed late. Closed on Sundays.
“The Resting Place” is an English translation for the Indian name “Alabama,” and is also the name of the Caritas Gift Shop. Full of items to help you live and spread Our Lady’s Messages, The Resting Place is set up with the thought that everything inside will give you an opportunity to speak about Our Lady of Medjugorje, thus making your home a Christian witness. Our Lady of Medjugorje said:
“...People who are in darkness daily come into your homes. Dear children, give them the light!”
It is through our Christian witness that we will change the world, a change that begins in the home. Make your home a witness to the light. A visit to the Resting Place helps Our Lady’s Mission here at Caritas of Birmingham and at the same time help souls come to Her.
