Protestant Donates $10,000 for Our Lady
Keep Medjugorje.com Online and Expanding!
A protestant man, who fell in love with Our Lady by carrying a Caritas Miraculous Medal Medjugorje Silver Round, explains why he is giving $10,000 to finish raising the necessary funds for Medjugorje.com. The following letter is his story to Caritas and you.
To Caritas:
The Triumph
“I check Caritas’ website www.mej.com all the time. Whether for information about Medjugorje or prayer resources, or to hear the radio programs, and most importantly, to see Our Lady’s messages. The website makes me feel connected to the Caritas family and Medjugorje, all of which are doing a huge service for the world.
“My life has changed fast in the last 5 years. 5 years ago God grabbed me and the Holy Spirit threw me up in the air, turning my life around and becoming born again. I found within this amazing treasure, Jesus. He is my anchor.
“My relationship with Jesus was beyond imagination, amazing, and He poured countless blessings on me. I had no idea He was going to introduce me to his Mom☺
“Two years ago, however, my dad gave me a Medjugorje/Caritas Miraculous Medal Silver Medallion. I put it in my pocket and carried it everywhere. Mary was sort of a stranger to me. But it was She who slowly but surely ushered me into the Rosary and to Medjugorje through the Caritas website. One night, 13 months later, She came to me in a dream and She was just there…. All night it seemed I just looked at Her. She was beautiful. This is no small wonder for a protestant, but a big miracle and one tied to the Miraculous Medal Medjugorje Medallion.
“When I woke up I was filled with such joy. She became a part of my morning prayers. When this happened it was as if my prayers were turbo-charged. Through Mary to Jesus!
“Medjugorje was starting to get very personal and significant for me.
“Caritas’ website became a greater resource for me for following Our Lady’s wishes and tracking Medjugorje.
“A few months later, I felt a calling to go to Caritas. Once that happened, I felt an urgency to go to Medjugorje. So I did, and quite suddenly. I went to Medjugorje last summer on a Caritas pilgrimage and it was without question, the most amazing week of my life.
“Just over a week ago I took a break from a painting I was working on and checked mej.com. I paint and pray. I paint and listen to Christian music. I paint and think of the Lord. I paint and listen to the Caritas radio programs. This painting was, The Lion, the King of Kings. A symbol of God. My first.
“When I saw the Caritas appeal and reason for funds for their website it made a ton of sense to me and I felt an urgency inside to help. Initially, I thought I would send just $1000. But over the following few days I noticed I kept increasing the amount I wanted to give.
“As the painting became stronger so did the clarity of what I should give. I kept getting bolder in my wish to give, and more courageous in knowing it was the right thing to do. I was totally clear this would happen. But I also knew it was going to anger someone very very dear to me, and create serious family discord. Serious disruption. We were supposed to be putting money away for retirement. Giving it away hadn’t been considered before. When one takes bold action for the Lord, God protects the household. So I persevered and held strong to what I knew I needed to do.
“We were going to give it to God.
“Mary needs our help. This morning I read a random message from Her as I always do after prayers. I have noticed that the funds are not coming in as fast as I expected. And sure enough, the bulk of the message was:
“…pray.,pray, pray… satan is hindering my intentions…”
“Our Lady needs our help! I decided to send $10,000 to help Her, because I know this website spreads the word. I did it because for me, at a critical time, it was my primary resource and still is. I did it because it hurt. I did it because it wasn’t easy. I went beyond the limits of what I thought I could afford. God made a way for it to happen.. And with the help of the Caritas 911 Prayer, God made a way. (see at the end of the article for the Caritas 911 Prayer information)
“This money I have given is my 401K. For the Lord is my future. It is He who guarantees my safety, my future. Not the stock market. I trust in Him. This is the time of year that many throw money towards their 401K. I’m suggesting a safer and far better investment. Our Lady and Lord need more help than just from me. You, the reader can do this too. It is a gift also that transforms to a Heavenly 401K for others.
“Stand up. Be bold. Put on the armor of God. Fight for Our Lady. Medjugorje needs to be available to all. The website is a powerful tool for God. There is urgency. There is a calling and if you hear it there is honor in what you do. You will feel it inside. Prayerfully consider what you might give and the dollar number will emerge. I ask for all warriors who are in a position such as mine to consider matching my $10,000 gift to Our Lady! Let’s raise a battle cry for Our Lady and Lord and get this done, now!
“I live on an island off the East Coast of USA, the ancient nickname of this island is The Grey Lady. There is hope for this island and there is hope for all.
“Sometimes it’s the smallest opening that gives way to the greatest flood of grace.”
