This week, we pray and remember our redemption, together with Our Lady…
April 14, 2014 A.D.
Our Lady of Medjugorje said on March 17, 1989:
“I ask you again to multiply your prayers to prepare yourself for Easter. Also, read the Bible, especially those passages that tell about the Passion of Jesus. Prepare yourself to look at Jesus ‘eye to eye.’ Tonight when you come home, pray in front of the Crucifix in thanksgiving for all the graces you receive.”
This week we prepare our hearts for Easter. The multiplication of prayers is usually the first step of answering Our Lady’s call. In doing so, one makes themself better able to understand what it is that God asks of each one. In the history of Caritas and in what Our Lady has birthed here, many times the path for the founder and his family was one of the ‘passion’. But, this passion has resulted in a beautiful way of life, a ‘resurrection’ of culture, as God intended it. The birth of Community was not an easy thing, but is one that Our Lady is leading the world towards through Medjugorje. For every cross endured, a blessing followed. In this time, it is important to attend the “How To” New Communities Convention April 29 – May 1, 2014. It is the way of understanding how to walk in this time of ‘passion’ that will have to be gone through, in order to resurrect in a new, beautiful way of life that is coming.
This week there are three things to do:
1. Multiply our prayers and read the Bible passages about the passion of Jesus
2. Pray before the Crucifix in Thanksgiving
3. Sign-up and pray for the “How To” New Communities Convention April 29 – May 1, 2014
We have at Caritas our “Crucifix” that hangs in the Bedroom of Apparitions, a constant reminder of our roots as a Community, but also sign for the world, that the present culture will undergo its passion to be resurrected into a new way of life, birthed in the messages of Our Lady. The world will one day face Jesus ‘eye to eye’ in the judgement of the way it has walked. No one will be exempted from it. The present culture is going away. But, this judgement will result in a beautiful resurrection for those who begin today to live a different way of life. The Bedroom of Apparitions pictured above in December 2013, the place of the Community “Crucifix”, our central place of prayer, will also be opened for prayer during the April 29 – May 1, 2014 “How To” New Communities Convention at Caritas.
