Ivanka shares her testimony to a standing room only crowd of pilgrims, today, June 8, 2010. It is just two weeks before the 29th Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje. Ivanka ceased seeing Our Lady on a daily basis in 1985, and since then, only receives Our Lady once a year on June 25th. As we are only a few short weeks away from that date, we can only imagine how the excitement and joy grows in Ivanka’s heart with each passing day as she waits in anticipation of seeing her greatest friend, her Mother, her Queen return to her again. For the rest of her life on earth, Ivanka has been promised this singular apparition once each year an the anniversary of the apparitions—perhaps a necessary gift from God that sustains Ivanka, giving her the strength and grace to continue living after the daily apparitions ceased for her. As several of the visionaries have testified—after seeing Our Lady, life on earth is not all that interesting anymore. If they were given a choice, they would leave, at a moment’s notice, with Our Lady and never look back. However, it is Our Lady’s desire that they remain and testify to the millions of pilgrims who come to Medjugorje year after year.
