July 5, 2010 Day of Thanksgiving

For those who have joined us from their homes, last night’s Medjugorje Re-Consecration of the United States was a beautiful event, today we reflect on Thanksgiving to God.

Last night under a star filled sky, pilgrims gathered to Re-Consecrate the United States to back Our Lady, as we had done previously in July 2008, and 2009. We reflected on those apparitions here to Medjugorje Visionary Marija, and the beautiful things Our Lady did and said while She was in our midst.

Today was already planned as a Day of Thanksgiving to God for all the graces received through Our Lady’s visits here, and for all the graces received. After last night’s Rosary, we picked randomly the following message from Words from Heaven:

January 3, 1985

“Dear children, these days the Lord has bestowed upon you great graces. Let this week be one of thanksgiving for all the graces God has granted you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

What an beautiful conclusion to the Re-Consecration of the United States, and by the fact that we already planned this day to be one of Thanksgiving, another sign from Our Lady that She is with us, and hears our prayers.

July 5 – Day of Thanksgiving

A Day of Thanksgiving to show gratitude to our Heavenly Father for allowing Our Lady to come to this nation to heal it. We will give grateful thanksgiving for this grace.

Thank you for sharing ! I had “withdrawal” I so wanted to be there again this year! The death of my Father and needs of my Mom kept me away.Caritas is now a Shrine to me, one I will always long to visit ,whether a visionary is there or not .I have followed along from home in prayer!

  3. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the activities of the field from home. It has been truly moving to pray and share with my husband. We both said the Consecration together for our families and our nation. My mother is in assisted living and we prayed the Rosary together along with a friend of hers a few times. I visited the field the first time in l989 on the feast of the Assumption and have had many blessings. Thank you again for this opportunity!

  4. Is this being held by Americans? What an beautiful conclusion to the Re-Consecration of the United States!
