July 1-5, 2009: Feedback

The following are a few of the feedbacks we have received in regards to the July 1-5, 2009 prayer gathering here at Caritas.

Caritas,

I used to think you were a first class operation but how dead wrong I have been. I can’t believe I thought that little of what y’all have done.

I am sitting here working on my computer, crying (of course) listening to the “New Again” song from your Martyrdom CD and thinking how far beyond first class you really are. Actually, in watching Caritas and listening for five years now, I’ve officially decided that there is no classification on earth for what you offer, how you live, and what you do.

This last July 1-5 event was so spectacular for me that if Heaven is even close to what I experienced, then people should be hounding y’all for directions. In talking to other people who have never been to Caritas, it made me wonder at how you all must feel. Since you have so much more practice at it than I do, I unfortunately unloaded to most people. I tried dropping five years of incredible experiences in 10 minutes. I don’t recommend doing this by the way. I was totally exhausted.

In case you have forgotten, there are many of us sitting by our computers waiting for the announcement that the July 1-5, 2009 CD’s are now available for sale.

God bless you all and I think I’ll start praying that you guys start getting more sleep. It’s obvious Our Lady has poured out graces all over y‘all but since Our Lady doesn’t sleep, I think She forgets to let you get yours.

Everyday I look at mej.com and it does keep getting better and better. I love the picture gallery, I love how the top picture keeps changing. Everything, and I mean everything I have ever seen you do or produce is amazingly and wonderfully perfect. Thanks.

Hope to see you soon. December is way too far off for me not to see y’all before then.

God bless,

Thank you Caritas Community for such a wonderful and prayerful time in Birmingham, Alabama. Words cannot express the peace and joy we still carry in our hearts from the 5 days spent in the presence of Our Lady. Our children are 2 and 4, and they are sharing testimony with all who ask, “Do you have family in Alabama?” They chime in “Mary, our Mother, was there!” It is a beautiful witness. We are very thankful to your ministry and mission that allowed us to know and experience Medjugorje from your words. We had already pledged money monthly for the continuation of mej.com, but we increased our support to being Field Angels and we are requesting information for being a part of the Extended Community, as we want to share in “the Way.” We encourage you all to keep living the messages and know that we are coming behind you, thankful that you are showing us “The Way.”

Blessed be Our Lord. Thank you for your apostolate! Thank you also for offering us a chance to not only feel, but picture Our Lady’s love for us, through Marija’s words. We had to return to San Antonio early, so we could not stay for Marija’s last Q and A session on July 5th. All our family regrets this so much! It was difficult to arrange for all of us to go, especially for our older sons (24 and 22 years old) but we did by the grace of God and it was worth it. We felt Our Mother close to our hearts. We bought Marija’s first CD of July 2nd at the store, but would love to purchase the Q and A CD of July 5th. Will you be offering it for sale? God bless.

To the Caritas Community:

My family and I attended the July 1-5, 2009 program. We came all the way from Ottawa, Canada and it was worth every penny. I just wanted to tell you all how wonderful you all are, and to thank you for all that you do to spread the messages of Our Blessed Mother Mary. I now understand what “To Witness” the messages mean. I’ve never been hugged by a man before (don’t remember by dad hugging me), and I have never experienced the charity of the heart that all the community members I met gave to me so easily. WOW!

I have never been so moved in all my life. A Friend of Medjugorje, you are a wonderful speaker and I hope to get you up to Canada to help us to consecrate our nation to the Blessed Mother Mary as well. My wife and I are talking about how we can spread the messages of Medjugorje here in Canada. We will take action to do just that.

Marija…I thank you. I have often wondered what the Blessed Virgin Mary must have been like when She was with us in person on earth. I think that you are like Her, that one of Her gifts to you was to make you over in Her likeness. You are so joyful and humble. I thank also the Blessed Mother Mary for the blessing to be able to come to Caritas and be present for the apparitions.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all, and the mission you are on.

Dear Members of the Caritas Community,

By means of what felt like coincidence at the time, although there are no such things as coincidences, I found myself going to Caritas this past week because my seminary application had been delayed due to the members of the advisory board being on vacation. I packed up my stuff the day before and we headed out to camp. We stayed in the tent, and although I wasn’t too fond of the cold showers at first, I’ve continued taking them here as a sacrifice along with the daily fasting because some part of me was touched by A Friend of Medjugorje’s talks. I’ve even adopted the prayer schedule y’all had for us.

I just want to thank you all. A Friend of Medjugorje and the ladies who did the announcements… but just as much as those up front, I want to thank those who were in the background, making things work most of the time, only stepping up to the front when no one else could, including the kids. It’s been weighing on my mind to thank you guys, especially the ones running around behind the scenes, but I was always in a circumstance where I couldn’t do that or just couldn’t get up the nerve to go say it, so I figured I would write you. My words are typically better that way anyway…

It was a life-changing experience, and I literally felt like I belonged there…Please keep me in your prayers as I continue to discern, even through seminary if I’m accepted, and know that you are all in mine. Again, thank you all. Peace and God bless you.

I just returned from Caritas yesterday. I have been so moved by all I experienced this past week. I feel so incredibly “blessed” to be actually blessed by the Holy Mother Mary. I want to thank all your wonderful community for living and giving as you do. I would love to purchase the CD tapes from July 3 and 4 as I couldn’t find before I left Monday. I can’t wait to spread the word – although so far I am too emotional to share everything with my family, but I bought lots of booklets and books. I was especially happy to bring Jesus (statue) that was blessed by Mary, home with me. God bless. I know I will be back!

I just attended the first three days of the five days with Our Lady. First, thank you so much for all the sacrifices your community made so that we would have this wonderful experience! Second, would it be possible to obtain a copy of A Friend of Medjugorje’s talk on July 3rd about finances? We had to leave to return home and was not able to hear the talk.

Dear Community of Caritas,

I cannot express the gratitude I have for you in opening your community to me as a pilgrim. My experience was positively the most Holy and Profound in my life. The moment I entered the Bedroom, I was stricken with an overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit and Our Lady. The experience has reconfirmed my commitment to Our Lady’s will and to live the messages here in my own community and family. It changed my life again. Thank you for sharing this great gift with us.

Dear Caritas,

Thank you so much for all the hard work that came with the preparations and during the time of the July 1-5 gathering for our country. My heart goes out to all of you for working so hard and always with such joy and love. It is your witness that really moves me to work hard at living Our Lady’s messages. My prayer is that you all get the rest and graces you all deserve. Thank you Mother Mary!

Thank you and God bless you for allowing me and my family, via this website, to be able to participate in spirit and prayer these last 5 days and prior. We were not able to attend, though my heart longed to be there. Thank you for all the hard work it took to put it all together.

My husband, neighbor and myself came for July 3rd and 4th. Our lives will never be the same. Who am I that the Mother of my Lord should come to me was all I could say and cry. Is there anyway that I could purchase a CD of the hymns that were sung before Our Blessed Mother came. They were so moving. Please let me know. Thank you for being open to Mary. God bless you all.

Hello Caritas Family,

As I view the event photos each day, my heart yearns to be there with each of you and with Our Lady!

I have been scouring the photos for any sign of the elusive Jimmy D. and his entourage! (smile) Shane’s 18-year-old nephew, along with a small group, is one of the pilgrims among you during these days. He is on fire for the faith as he has been experiencing a beautiful conversion in recent months. His pilgrimage to Caritas is very special to us as his name was placed before Our Lady at last year’s July event. She wasted no time in claiming his heart as Her own.

I’ve already talked to Dad once and he sounded like he was walking on air! After we hung up, I felt like I had just been there myself…I felt that my heart could not contain the utter Joy I felt inside. He relayed to me how many people have been asking about us and saying how much they miss us. It still boggles my mind at what a truly miraculous thing Our Lady does in tying us all together as family. I feel as though we experience something of what the Apostles and the Early Church experienced in the beginning…that everyone knew who the Christians were because of their Love. I tremble now as I contemplate it all.

Please know how we miss you all and how hard I am praying for each and every community member and pilgrim gathered there for this event…I am offering every Mass and Communion, First Friday and First Saturday devotions, and personal prayers for profound conversion of hearts during and following these days. Please pray for us at the feet of Our Dear Blessed Lady.

Until we meet again, Praised be Jesus!

  1. There are people  who were raised by a bad mother,  so they have are hard time believing in the Blessed Mother (tho. She is the greatest Mother  ever)  and like wise Those who were raised by a bad father, have a hard time believing in Jesus and God tho(JESUS  and GOD are the greatest and Almighty,  Our  world is full of turmoil, and only the Holy of  Holies can help us.  But those who have been poorly raised need to believe this.

  3. The broadcast music was very touching as I just found out I am pregnant for my second child. My first is a boy. Though I had no preference of the gender beforehand, God seems to be telling me this one is a girl. I prayed to God for a name as I did for my first, and He made it so easy. Rose was the name that immediately came to me after I found out. When I told her father I thought it was a girl, he said “We can call her Rose.” If it is indeed a girl, her name will be Rose Liberty. We are going to see the first ultrasound next week. What a wonderful message to hear before carrying this new life into the world – God-willing. There are a few things I need to work on..We will also have to make sure our new husky knows his place in the family. :)Thank you for your boldness and giving teachings like no one else does. So many are too afraid or do not have the wisdom.
