Ivan’s Prayer Group Apparition September 5, 2008

This picture was taken around 9:00 p.m. this evening, of some of the thousands of pilgrims gathered tonight on Apparition Mountain, in preparation for Our Lady’s apparition.

Thousands of pilgrims gathered under a beautiful starry night on top of Apparition Mountain for Ivan’s Prayer Group tonight. Small groups of pilgrims were scattered around Our Lady’s statue at least 3 to 4 hours before Our Lady would appear, praying quietly in different languages. The singing began around 8:45 p.m. At 9:30 p.m., Ivan announced that we would begin to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary in preparation for the apparition. It was a very beautiful and peaceful night under the stars, praying together with pilgrims from all over the world, waiting the time that the Queen of Heaven and Earth would be physically present. As the Rosary ended, Ivan announced that it was time for the apparition. As many pilgrims knelt to greet Our Queen, Our Lady appeared. Ivan’s apparition lasted about 10 minutes.

The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition.

This is just one of thousands of pilgrims who have knelt before the desecrated statue of Our Lady on Apparition Mountain. This was the first time Ivan has had an open prayer group apparition on top of Apparition Mountain since the statue was desecrated. As the many thousands of pilgrims gazed upon this statue in preparation for Our Lady’s coming, prayers for peace, protection, and the conversion of those who did the damage were being offered from the heart to Our Lady.

“Most important from tonight’s meeting with Our Lady is that Our Lady came joyful and, at the beginning, greeted us all with Her Motherly greeting: “Praised be Jesus, my children.” Our Lady then prayed for a longer time for unity of the Church and for priests. She then blessed us all with Her Motherly Blessing and blessed all that you brought for blessing. With Her hands extended over us, She then prayed over us for a while and She prayed over the sick. Then we conversed, I spoke with Her and She with me, which remains only between us. Then I recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, your families, and especially all of the sick. I then prayed an Our Father and Glory Be with Our Lady and afterwards, as She prayed over us, She left in prayer, in an illuminated sign of the Cross, with a greeting, “Go in peace, my dear children.” This would be the most important from tonight’s meeting described in the words that I have.”
