Our Lady of Medjugorje said on June 25, 1997:
Peace is important in many ways, more than just a spiritual way.

Peace is important in many ways. In 1986, a Friend of Medjugorje started BVM Caritas Pilgrimages to Medjugorje. The foundation of the pilgrimage was to create the environment for the most amount of peace possible for pilgrims. This is essential to a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, because without this, a pilgrimage can turn sour. One pilgrim wrote to us after their pilgrimage with BVM Caritas:
“I would not travel to Medjugorje again unless it was with Caritas. All the arrangements were very well thought out. The experience was great. I finally had a little piece of heaven. The accommodations were excellent and the food was good. This pilgrimage exceeded all my expectations. I will never forget it.”
