“I Pray For You And Fight For You”

 

Our Lady Queen of Peace Medjugorje’s January 2, 2008 Message to Mirjana Soldo

“Dear children! With all the strength of my heart I love you and give myself to you. As a mother fights for her children, I pray for you and fight for you. I ask you not to be afraid to open yourselves, so as to be able to love with the heart and give yourselves to others. The more that you do this with the heart, the more you will receive and the better you will understand my Son and His gift to you. May everyone recognize you through the love of my Son and through me. Thank you!”
 

Our Lady blessed everyone present and all the religious articles. And She asked for prayer and fasting for our shepherds.

 

In the 1800’s, in the area around the valley where Caritas is located, a man was passing through and happened upon a woman who was outside in front of her cabin. Both of her arms were severely gnarled and lacerated with festering wounds. The wounds were ugly. One week before, she had gone down to the creek to wash clothes. Performing her work, she heard her baby screaming. Running back to her house she found a large raccoon attacking her child. With the instinctive strength of a mother, she attacked the raccoon barehanded, without thinking of its ferociousness. The fight lasted for some time and ended by the mother strangling the raccoon to death while its sharp claws lacerated her skin and teeth bit into her. With all her strength, she would not let go.1 This true story would be a feat for even the bravest and strongest of men. Our Lady said “as a mother fights for Her children,” should make us realize the importance of what She says in Her messages. We, who join Her, will have to fight with Her. That means we sometimes get hurt, muddied up in the battle of love. Much more could be written about this, but the point being made of why we should pay attention to these words must be understood.
 

Every message of Our Lady contains the most important words in the history of the world, second only to the Revelation given in Scripture. The “second” of the month is a sign which also tells us the place or position of these words are “second” only to the Bible. That position of being just under the Bible, places them over all other words, editorials, books, news, periodicals, opinions, and so forth, spewed out across the world throughout all the yesterdays, the today’s and the days of the future until the last day. Outside of the Bible, nothing, nothing else you will see, hear, and read comes minutely close in the significance, importance, or impact upon your future life here and hereafter than Our Lady’s messages. The preamble to the Bible is being written in your midst. Are you aware of it? Are you incorporating this glorious moment of the message into your life? Our Lady’s messages hold the number two spot, beneath Public Revelation, but by far the number one spot for all private revelation. The words of Mary, the quiet strength for 2000 years, advises you in contrast and contradiction to the world’s ways and hypocrisies. Just as the early Christians were placed in a struggle, a “fight” to establish the life Jesus brought, to establish “His” way into agrarian families and the agrarian culture, into the first frontier, it is the same for the second spiritual frontier of today’s family and culture, the new second system of man’s non-agrarian way of living. From thousands of years living an agrarian subsistence in which the Christian life was eventually instituted by Jesus Himself, what man lives today, in contrast, is a system of life built on technology; a new second frontier that man has entered which has created a cold world. The Holy Virgin Mother brings us today an infusion of the Christian life, into a “new technological way” to live that will lead man back to the Creator and closer to subsistence living.
 

Just as a nomad standing aside as a spectator, intrigued as he watched the Israelites enter the Red Sea, followed by the Pharaoh’s army, with only a visual image, void of the understanding of who the Israelites were and why the army was after them, many today “visually” are aware of the Virgin’s messages, but are void of understanding the purpose and intent behind them. A glorious moment passed by with the birth of Christ until His death 33 years later. A glorious moment is passing by since the birth of the apparitions in Medjugorje, 27 years in the making, until the not so distant future when the apparitions will end. Are you a nomad watching only with curiosity from a hill of sand or an Israelite fighting to get through the muck on the miraculous trail through the Red Sea? The resistance or muck to stop you or to slow you down in following Our Lady’s way will come in all forms from family resisting you to even some of the Shepherds of the Church and everything in between. As for you, say what Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” That is following the message. In the time of grace, do not let the glorious moment pass you by without joining Our Lady in the fight. Rise up to fight, through the messages, the culture whose only preoccupation is the death of the world and eternal death.
