A beautiful Medjugorje sunset, June 3, 2019. Sunsets, the end of the day, reminds one of death, when the light of human life is extinguished. In Medjugorje the sunsets are beautiful. This is Our Lady’s desire, that when the light of our human life is over that it will be beautiful.
Our world is filled with death. Yesterday’s commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day, which a Friend of Medjugorje spoke very poignantly about in the Mejanomics Special, I Will Not Fail Thee Nor Forsake Thee, tells of another powerful battle, the greatest in the history of the world in which there are soldiers fighting under a leader. Just as with D-Day, there are many casualties, many deaths, but it serves a greater cause – the greatest ever in history.
As the lives of those who sacrificed on D-Day live on in our memories – and rightly so, so too, will those who fight in this new great epic battle, what a Friend of Medjugorje called, “the prefigurement of Armageddon”, will live eternally and leave a mark upon the earth. We are reminded of a Friend of Medjugorje’s words from 20 years ago:
Death will not exist for those who take up this cause. In this way, the evening of life, when the sun of life sets will indeed be beautiful. Be sure to listen or download this special broadcast, I Will Not Fail Thee Nor Forsake Thee, available here, and spread this to everyone you know.
