pope Benedict XVI said on May 10, 2008 that natural law “deserves to be recognized as the source inspiring the relationship between a married couple in their responsibility to generate children. The transmission of life is inscribed in nature and its laws stand as an unwritten norm to which everyone must refer.”1
The Holy Father referred to the crisis of the family when he said there has been “a notable drop in the number of marriages and an astonishing increase in divorces.” He told Hungarian bishops visiting the Vatican, “You have rightly criticized public recognition of abominable unions,” speaking of perverse de facto marriage unions.
We must ask ourselves with Our Lady coming for almost 28 years, is Our Lady coming because natural law is blatantly violated and the world cannot continue without self destructing? Sixty years ago:
6 million Jews were exterminated
20 million Russians were exterminated
10 million Christians were exterminated
1,900 Catholic priests were exterminated
The UK has banned the teaching of the Holocaust because the above facts may offend Muslims. Iran is claiming the Holocaust is a myth. General Eisenhower upon finding the victims of the death camps ordered Germans in the surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps to see what they turned the other way not to see. Eisenhower even ordered them to bury the dead. He ordered photographers to document the human extermination and to record eye witness accounts because he knew somewhere down the road, history would say it never happened. Our Lady said:

In the book Dreams of My Father, presidential candidate, Barack Obama wrote, “I ceased to advertise my mother’s race (she was white) at the age of 12 or 13 when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.”
Why so much hate? Where is the love, where are the real dreams of our fathers that Our Lady spoke of? Instead, all has turned to hate. Hate denies truth and attempts to make what is a lie, truth, and truth a lie. We live in a reversed culture, a reversed world. This symptom of a diseased world is why God now sends Our Lady to the earth. Never in the history of the world has the denial of history, the denial of sin as in the present, the rewriting of truth, the attempts to reverse natural law to unnatural law ever ultimately prevailed. All of these perversions of truth are on the brink of being corrected. It is through natural law, formed by the Creator, by which we are governed. Natural law has never, nor will it ever be permanently reversed. In that truth we can take consolation. Thus, however, destruction of untruth will come only after an ugly clash in which hatred will peak in its evil and ingenuity, but be finally crushed and defeated by love, only love. The same love which defeated hatred in the coliseums and courts of the Roman Empire, transforming it into the Christian Roman Empire. Our Lady said,

Washing dishes from a water spiker while camping I was reminded by my dad that although I thought I was roughing it, he told me that thousands of people living today would be so grateful to have water piped into a campsite. Thank you Friend of Medjugorie for reminding me to thank God for the many things I take for granted. May God bless all fathers, the ones still with us and those in Heaven on this most special day.
