Followers of Our Lady,
There has been much talk across the nation this past week about the Presidential primary elections that are taking place in most states today. While many get drawn into the politics of the election, supporting “their candidate,” Our Lady calls us to something much deeper.

Is “our party” or “our candidate” principled in Christianity? Last week, you read more extensively about this in your weekly letter, and was encouraged to read Chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10 of Look What Happened While You Were Sleeping, because the book explains much more extensively than can possibly be explained, here infew paragraphs.
Touching on this one aspect that was written about before in several writings, what does Our Lady mean by, “…not through the presidents but through prayer…”? Some take this to mean that Christians should just tolerate everything that goes on, not getting involved, and looking the other way, that whatever God wants is going to happen. This is false.
Inprevious Radio WAVE broadcast we said that politics stinks. Christians are not called to be politicians; they are called to serve their people.politician is someone who is first faithful to their political party, or those who compromise themselves for power, gain, etc. We are called to be faithful to our Christian convictions regardless if the “party” is with us or not. We are called to hold accountable those who lead us, even to the point of impeachment.
Why can the Supreme Court rule in such ways as they have? Because they are not afraid of “we the people.” We should be mindful of this, that they are not afraid of we the people. As Jefferson said, “Does the government fear us? Or do we fear the government? When the people fear the government, tyranny has found victory.” The most that happens from anti-Christian rulings and law is that the Christians make uproar, and the Court and Congress continue. But what keeps them continuing? And what keeps them ignoring our Christian uproar, the Christians who make up 84% of our Nation? They have no fear that we will throw them out. We must change our mentality and throw them out.
Years ago, to some, this may have sounded radical. Clearly today, some are waking up. It doesn’t sound radical to those of you who are members of the mejList in the Ukraine, or in Russia, or those of you in Afghanistan, and Iraq. You know better than we, the price of freedom, freedom to serve God withoutgovernment to police your every move.
Our Lady of Medjugorje has not been appearing everyday for 27 years for we Christians to think that if God wants it, it’s going to happen. God collaborates with man. God will work things out for us when we comply with His will. So, yes, it is true thatpresident cannot bring peace, but God can, and He will give us the moment to take our nation back, if we humble ourselves, and continue praying. July 1-5 iscall to Heaven, to give us our Nation back. Meanwhile, Lent is an incentive to get our heart correct so that God can give usseize the moment.
