What you are about to read is a very important understanding of the world as we know it. It should not be read without much prayer. – Medjugorje.com
Our Lady’s recent words on July 2, 2016 should shake our spirits out of complacency:
“…He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety…”
As well as Her words of June 25, 2016:
“…live God’s commandments that it may be good for you on earth…”
Our Lady wants the good for us. But, that requires that we acknowledge our sinfulness, and realize that there can be “bad for us” as well as situations that are “unsafe.” A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in 2007, something that seems more appropriate for today:
“…The whole world is a Babylon. Therefore, a voice is sent from Heaven. Yes, a call, but also it is a warning. We must not negate the warnings, and Our Lady shows how serious She means what She says:
February 6, 1986
“…First of all you (the parish) must accept the messages, and then the others (us). You shall be answerable to me and to my Son, Jesus…”
Do we think because we have gone decade after decade, degrading into the abyss of depravity, and because God has done nothing, that we should think that nothing is going to happen? That mentality is ignorance and so minimizes the events Our Lady foretells. The prophets were not silent and often the people listened and repented. Nineveh is the example.
It took decades to build the ark, but when did God make the decision to purify the earth? Yes, when he told Noah to build the ark. Many decades later the purification came. Human nature and all of society has fallen asleep, lulled by the belief of “tolerance,” thereby deceiving ourselves that because God has not acted decade after decade, that He, therefore, is accepting and tolerant of even abominable sins. The world sinks in sin, learning to live with it, “live and let live.” This has led to a misunderstanding of God’s mercy, a false understanding that God’s mercy will, in turn, let the world continue. No, the case of God against the earth is decided. God’s mercy is now, and all must not stay away from the Divine mercy available, but rather call upon it now…”1
In this Year of Mercy, we should be calling down God’s Divine Mercy in every way possible, for we do not know what the world will be like once this Year of Mercy is over, that we should not regret that we did not take advantage of the grace offered this year. It is a serious time to be in prayer and to be clothing ourselves with prayer and Our Lady’s messages.
