A Friend of Medjugorje has released the latest updates to Mej.com, version 5.0

 

The original Project WAVE (Project Worldwide AVE) was begun in 2004. A Friend of Medjugorje spearheaded creating the most-vast Medjugorje website in the world, and several years had already gone into it. One of the guiding messages behind Project WAVE, was a message which the Community of Caritas picked randomly from Words from Heaven, while praying for Our Lady to guide the project. We asked Our Lady to give us words to follow. The message we picked from Our Lady was:

 

June 27, 1988

“Dear children, your Mother loves you all. I’m happy to see you here, dear children. I give you love; give this love to others. Be peace workers. Help the others to change their lives. I give you might, dear children; with this might, you can bear everything. May this might make you strong in everything. You need it; that is why I give you might.”

 

“Might” was what Our Lady gave, while a Friend of Medjugorje was guiding the research and design of a new Medjugorje website. Though we could not has seen it at the time, now, almost 20 years later, we see that Our Lady has fulfilled Her words, in that millions of thousands of people, from every nation in the world has been connected to Medjugorje, converted, strengthened by what a Friend of Medjugorje has made available on Mej.com.

Project WAVE was preceded by 3 years of research, from 2001 to 2004. Then after 2004, two more years went into the first Mej v1.0, released in 2006.

 

Then v1.5 was released in 2007. This was the beginning of bring updated content from Medjugorje to the whole world. It took several years, but this was the beginning of other Medjugorje sites copying what a Friend of Medjugojre was releasing.

 

Then in 2009, Mej v2.0 was released. Many months of work and thousands of man-hours went into the site. With the release of Mej v2.0, some of that work did not get published for over 8 years. This was the first design that matched what many have become familiar with.

 

Then in 2017, many of you remember the work, and launch of Mej v3.0.

 

Many months of work, thousands of man-hours, fundraising to help pay for the new hosting, etc. was put into the new site. Mej v3.0 was released on August 21, 2017 at 12 Noon. Coinciding with the launch of the site, a total solar eclipse took place across North America.

 

Then in 2021, the year of the 40^th anniversary, we launched Mej v4.0. This was a complete redesign of the site, a complete overhaul of the infrastructure, to make the site more ready for the release of the secrets.

 

Now, in 2023, a Friend of Medjugorje is launching Mej v5.0 This site is a “hybrid” design of version 3.0 and version 4.0. Many corrections have been made, changes to the navigation, and the overall look and feel of the site is similar to what many were familiar with in version 3.0.

What’s different?

 

Simpler design.

Mej v3.0 was an almost perfect design. Mej v4.0 was designed to bring harder-to-reach content upfront, and have a faster site search.

 

This newest version 5.0 is a cleaner version of v4.0, and it incorporates many of the original design that many were familiar with in v3.0.

 

Easier to Navigate.

The left menu has been brought back, just like  it was in Mej version 3.0.

 

The top menu has been simplified and with the most common-used pages that many of you have been looking for.

 

Faster.

The site has been optimized and restructured to be faster on a computer and mobile device. The Words from Heaven message search has also been made faster.

 

Corrections Made to Content.

Much work  behind the scenes, and many hours have been put into correcting some of the missing pages that showed up from time to time. Mej.com is a massive site, containing thousands of pages.

 

Timeline is Back.

The Medjugorje Timeline is now back in its original format that scrolls horizontally. This timeline took hundreds of man-hours to complete.
