The new life Our Lady calls us to may still have a dirtiness, but it is a different kind of dirtiness. But to understand this, one must dispel a common myth about the Medjugorje messages.

Many have heard a Friend of Medjugorje tell about a new way of life. But, in order to understand what this is, it is important to dispel a common myth about the messages:
Some may think applying Our Lady’s messages to everything in life and the world as an error. Some think Our Lady’s messages must be only about prayer, etc., not infectious diseases, government, laws, etc. This is a result of a limited capacity thinking, and a minimizing of Our Lady’s messages, constricting them to only your knowledge instead of being open to being illuminated.

How Can You Understand “I lived your life” – November 2, 2014
A Friend of Medjugorje often speaks about living the messages as “way of life” that Our Lady has shown him – a simpler life. It is a life devoid of the “dirtiness of the past” even if the work itself is dirty work. But it is a life that is lived, “anew and differently.” This is an example of the messages applied to everything in life. But one cannot understand that without dispelling the myth that the messages are only about praying more.

Yes, I believe we all have “past dirtiness” due to our sinful natures. I also believe that what was said about a wholesome way of life purifies the soul is true too. It has been stated before the interaction of nature in our lives allows us to reflect, heal and have peace again, which is a direct result of God’s Infinite Mercy and Forgiveness. So yes, I agree a simple way of life can lead to a wholesome way.
