It is with great expectation and joy that we make a special announcement to you! Our hope and prayer for several years is now able to be fulfilled. On July 4, 1776 a nation was born. For the first time in the history of the world a group of men actually sat down and conceived a nation. Reasoning with wisdom from a higher power, these men at an impasse, thought if a sparrow cannot fall from the sky without the Maker knowing it, is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? So they prayed. The impasse was broken and the Christian nation of the United States of America was born. Speaking of the birth of the new nation, John Quincy Adams said that the American Revolution
“…connected in one indissoluble bond principles of civil government to the principles of Christianity.”
He didn’t say principles of Christianity to principles of civil government. He said principles of civil government to the principles of Christianity. Christianity’s principles are the bedrock by which the United States of America’s civil government is attached. Christian principles and civil government are not co-equal. One submits to the other as the higher authority. It is explicitly clear Christian principles are the foundation of the United States of America, making it as no other nation on earth. This is the reason this nation became the greatest, most powerful, most generous nation in world history. And as a natural step of a nation built on Christian principles, on May 13, 1846, it was given to the Blessed Virgin Mary through a formal consecration by all the American bishops. The Virgin Mother became the Patroness of the United States of America, the Mother of our land. How could a nation founded upon Her Son’s principles, in it’s make up and it’s very core of civil law, not be ordained by God to be given to Her? Repeatedly, in history, this nation has been used for the purpose of peace. However, often in the midst of being used, many are confused. But time brings clarity and peace has shown to flourish where America’s resolve shown to bring the light of Liberty and freedom to shores who it helped liberate. Sadly, now this nation is faltering with other nations of the world, weakened by sin. America is in danger of losing its soul. The rest of the world will follow because all are moving down the same path. But as we are being crushed because of our sin, just as Christ was crushed on the Cross for our sin, we must realize that we have a choice to break from the path the world is racing toward and change course. We then can experience resurrection and give hope to the world to follow this Light on a Hill, as many nations have in decades past. In the past, the faith of many in the world was strengthened just by the mention of the United States of America. It stood for something. Friends and foes respected its image. Why? Because the Christian principles coded into its very beginning gave hope to man. To live free, without oppression. Christianity gives that freedom, that Liberty. It cannot be otherwise for a nation who was birthed, grew, and matured under the Christian principles of Christ.
We need a Mother for our nation. We need Her to purify us. We need Her to cure us. We need Her to resurrect us. We need Her to be amongst us, we the people need Her, on perhaps the most crucial Fourth of July since 1776, for 2008, for an appeal for America’s rebirth! AND we will have Her because we’ve yearned for Her. We’ve cried out for Her to heal our stripes and now you have the opportunity to come to the Field, July 4, 2008, two-hundred thirty-two years after its birth to be in the presence of our nation’s Patroness, our Queen, to plead our case before Her, to beg for the rebirth of our nation into holiness. She has said She wants this for us as individuals. Then can it not be so for a nation as well, which is made up of individuals?

Joining with thousands of people from other countries and all fifty states of the union certainly will represent our nation’s people enough that Our Lady’s wish, “…as I bore Jesus in my womb so also, dear children, do I wish to bear you unto holiness…” can be sought for our nation, She being in possession of this nation through the original consecration and our 2008, July 4th, re-consecration of the United States to Her. To have the Queen of Heaven with us on the day of it’s birth and re-consecrating it to Her for rebirth will be one of the highest moments in our nation’s history. Is this statement an exaggeration or an understatement? It is both. An exaggeration? Yes, for those who do not comprehend Our Lady’s presence through the apparitions when She appears to Marija, the visionary. An understatement? Yes, for those who understand that when the Queen of Peace appears to Marija in the Field, Our Lady is physically present to Marija. She can touch Her, talk to Her and hear Her. Our Lady has already received and is present in Her transfigured body. Marija will petition Our Lady directly on July 4, 2008, to hear our prayers and petitions to rebirth our nation. This is a cause of great joy for so many of you who have never been able to go to Medjugorje because of finances or other reasons and to have Our Lady with us for five days, July 1-5, 2008, through Marija’s apparitions is an experience of Medjugorje as it was in the beginning days.
The timing is absolutely crucial. July 4, 2008, will be 126 days before our presidential election. As things are going now, we may very well have two political parties, each offering candidates who are for abortion and the re-arrangement of marriage. As Christians, for the first time, we will not be able to vote! We cannot choose either one, no matter if one is worse than the other. The title we bear as a Christian will forbid our vote. Our nation is in a dangerous situation, perilous to its future, because of this situation. We cannot, at this moment, on July 4, 2008, look to man but only to God to give a solution. We must turn God’s heart towards us to revive our land. We will not vote our way out of it. Our Lady has told us how She will lead us on and show us how to win. The gathering of July 1-5, 2008 will be based on instructions from Our Lady’s message,

Choose to come to Caritas, to the Bedroom and Field of Apparitions, for July 4, ’08, (July 1-5) in meekness, humility, and love. Once here, reject arrogance, kneel before Jesus, going to confession in the Field. Give Our Lady your hands. It is a crucial time to do what Our Lady says,

We must gather, July 1-5, 2008, at this late hour for our nation. It is a gift from God the Creator that we have this extraordinary moment to be in the presence of the Queen of Heaven, the Patroness of our nation, to make our appeal directly to Her with our very lives to heal our nation.
You have nine months to prepare, a full term period of preparation before birth, to ask Our Lady to rebirth our land. Pass this on to everyone. Promote the apparitions of July 1-5, 2008, by every means you can think of. The more people who humble themselves before Our Lady, the more hope we can have to restore and revive our land.

“I just read the special announcement. It came to me that if you add up 126, which is also the number of days you said before the election, it also comes to nine. Also, the novena that you have been saying is, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, for nine days. Lastly, when I was in our adoration chapel last and looking at this year’s cover of the novena and I thought about what it says. Our Lady was born for one reason…to bring peace. It hit me that how profound those words truly are. I thought She gave birth to Jesus who is Peace and is giving messages as Our Lady, Queen of Peace in Medjugorje to bring Jesus back into our lives, who is Peace.

Hello Friend of Medjugorje, and all at Caritas. What a great job/ministry you are doing! I thank Our Lord and Our Lady for giving you this mission. I’ll begin today to pray for Our Lady’s visit next July, 2008. I’ll be making a 9-month novena for Her to heal our nation and our families. I pray that everyone who has gotten your important announcement that Marija is coming and bringing Our Lady, will join in now and pray as much as they can in advance to make our prayers as effective as possible. Hi, thank you for letting us know now about next July 4th. I have been wondering about what to do if we have two proabort candidates, evil is still evil. It sounds like Our Lady will show us. I have one request for consideration. The novenas for December 8-12 will end in December. Would it be possible to start in January and do a novena each month leading up to July? There are a group of us who do them here and this year we missed the monthly novena so much we wrote our own. I believe the power of prayer for our nation would be so much greater if we were joined by the people (over 800,000 in print—reflected even half of the people) doing the novenas each month. Booklets could be printed or even offered as a download through the website if time didn’t permit. Thank you for the consideration of this request. Blessings,

Considering that Medjugorje is not approved, it is inappropriate to be advertising this, especially as “it is” Our Lady appearing to these people.

It does not require a degree in theology to understand that the church gives us the right to promote the events of Medjugorje. Furthermore, Pope Benedict, as Cardinal Ratzinger, released a document in 2000, that stated that the faithful are not only allowed to promote such events, but encouraged, and that “private revelation shows signs of the inculturalization of the faith.” Therefore, we take great issue with your remarks that “it is inappropriate” to advertise this event. It is inappropriate not to promote this, and to discourage it.

For sometime now, I have been trying to figure out how I was going to, financially, make it to Bosnia-Herzegovina next year with my Niece’s wedding in August, in Italy and a possible family wedding as well…so it is with great joy that I read this message from Caritas. I am a Canadian but it doesn’t mean I can’t go and pray for the resurrection of the United States and Canada through the guidance of Our Lady of Medjugorje. Thank you Caritas, you solved one of my biggest dilemmas.

Church in Regression? When the Church, and church leaders, do not have Jesus’s teachings as their focus some followers regress back to the old Jewish conquest era ways of the Old Testament before Jesus came to give the truth, the way and the life. Some Christians see the historical pattern and trend lines into the future which opens up the thought; God must see much much more. I find it strange to talk to Russian Christians today to find out the Bolsheviks/godless took charge of the church after the revolution and with the aid of Jesuit methods they purged the church and destroyed history/rewritten, now its coming back with the Royal Romanov family as Saints. After reflecting on Jesus’s teaching about Truth, most American Christians are following untruth and the Catholic church is teaching __?__ to bring chaos/revolution??? but you have said it is chastisement or is it guilt by association? Franciscans have the tao or T cross not the double cross in Mass for Saint Junipero in NY Times.
