We share with you some words from Medjugorje visionary Marija. Marija gives some practical insight for Our Lady’s desires for our lives. The following was from a talk that Marija gave on November 2, 2013 to a group of pilgrims in Medjugorje:
“In your free will, decide for God. Our Lady is our Mother and Morning Star, our guide. Today, when we look at the world and see how it is falling apart, we hear Our Lady say, ‘Pray!’ When we have God, He gives us His blessing. He gives us 100%. Our Lady says we must be united to God. If you choose to live without God, your life will become meaningless. With God, your life will be full and have meaning. Christians must give love. Even if we are little, we can become great. We must carry the yeast of Medjugorje into the world. Let us tell Our Lady that we all desire to become saints. Learn about the saints and become like them. You can become great while on your knees and through prayer and fasting. Maybe you are not always humble but while on your knees you become great through humility. Our Lady invites us to become humble.
“Be an example of Christianity…showing Christ’s love by the example of your life. Be an example first to your family. Be an example in your work place. There is no time to hide. It is the time to witness. If we continue to hide then we will see the world destroyed. Economies will be destroyed. Nature will be destroyed. We need to witness our faith and live in a future with God. Without God we are barren and a people without a future. Our Lady is appearing to bring us back to God and to love life. She said to love the life that God gave us and remember He created us in His image. Our Lady’s “yes” to God has given us the victory.”

Medjugorje visionary Marija, with her husband Paolo translating at Caritas in July 2013. For over 32 years, Marija has been a powerful witnesss of Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje. Marija was especially chosen by Our Lady to convey Her messages to the world each 25th of the month. Our founder, A Friend of Medjugorje, along with his wife, share a close, family relationship with Marija. It was to Marija, when staying in the home of our founder in 1988, that Our Lady conveyed Her wish to establish a community here, at Caritas. The Caritas Community shares this witness of Our Lady, that a life dedicated to God, will fruit out into a beautiful life that will be full of joys and have meaning.
