Pope Benedict’s Words Echo Our Lady’s Words

Pope Benedict stated on this date from Vatican City:

“The attempts made through the ages to extinguish the light of God, to replace it with the glare of illusion and deceit, have heralded episodes of tragic violence against mankind. This is because the attempt to cancel the name of God from the pages of history results in distortion, in which even the most beautiful and noble words lose their true meaning.”

Echoing the sentiment captured in Our Lady’s latest message given on November 2, 2012 to Mirjana, She stated:

As a mother I implore you to persevere as my apostles. I am praying to my Son to give you Divine wisdom and strength. I am praying that you may discern everything around you according to God’s truth and to strongly resist everything that wants to distance you from my Son…Through fasting and prayer you are opening the way for me to pray to my Son for Him to be beside you and for His name to be holy through you”
