Marija visited an orphanage, located near Medjugorje, filled with orphans from the war. The children knowing that Our Lady would be present in an apparition to Marija prepared special songs to sing to Our Lady during the apparition. After the apparition Marija told the children that Our Lady had listened to them, smiling gently while they sang. Our Lady looked at each of the children attentively and blessed them. She gave the following message:
