Medjugorje Visionary Marija Lunetti visited Lebanon from October 8 – 13th. During this time, she had two public apparitions of Our Lady on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11. The apparitions took place in the Multi Hall Forum de Beyrouth in Beirut, Lebanon which was filled to capacity. An estimated 100,000 people were present over the course of the two days. Attendees report of an immensely joyful crowd, a crowd who had a very obvious devotion to Christ’s Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. The event was led by the Maronite Archbishop of Beirut, Monsignor Paul Matar, who presided over the Mass on Saturday. About 100 priests were present and confessions were heard throughout the hall. It is reported that more than 60,000 people were already in the Forum by 3 p.m. waiting for the program to begin at 6 p.m. Many were singing together to Our Lady, and for peace in their country. Marija said that Our Lady blessed everyone and stayed longer than usual, and that She looked at each and everyone present. Attendee Tamara Abou Zeid testifies, “It was a once in lifetime experience. We felt the presence of our Mother with us, and love and peace filled our hearts.†Marija reported that she had felt an urgent need to go to this region that has been suffering for years. She listened to the sufferings of the Syrians from the local prayer group and the Lebanese. She is happy to have fulfilled that mission and she hopes to go back.
