Cardinal Christoph Schonborn spoke in length about Medjugorje and Confession at a retreat for priests in Ars, France. Speaking of Medjugorje, he said that it was one of the greatest strongholds of Confession today. He also reiterated the official position of the Church in respect to Medjugorje: “It has not yet been decided whether events there are of supernatural origin, but nor has the possibility been excluded.â€
