Archbishop Henryk Hoser Visits Medjugorje

Archbishop Henryk Hoser, the Special Envoy to Medjugorje appointed by Pope Francis, arrived in St. James Parish in Medjugorje, after being charged by Pope Francis with the task of:

“…acquiring a deeper knowledge of the pastoral situation there and above all, of the needs of the faithful who go there in pilgrimage, and on the basis of this, to suggest possible pastoral initiatives for the future.”

He said:

“This place of prayer is now famous in the whole world, and Holy Father is very interested in the development of devotion of faithful that takes place here.”
