Archbishop Emilio Ognevich from Italy said:
“…What fills me with hope are the words of John Paul II, who told us, both priests and bishops, to accompany pilgrims to Medjugorje, because here they are praying, converting, fasting and changing their lives…â€
Archbishop Ognevich served as an auxiliary bishop of Rome and worked closely with Pope John Paul II. Another bishop from Italy, Bishop Salvatore Boccaccio, testifies to the fruit he sees in his own diocese because of Medjugorje. He said:
“In my diocese, I have young people who were converted and whose life was changed in Medjugorje. Their witness was for me a sign of the great presence of God in Medjugorje.â€
