Welcome to Radio Wave with a Friend of Medjugorje. Today we have a special broadcast prepared for you. When you listen to people on the radio today a lot of time what you are hearing is a regurgitation of the same things over and over again. You can turn the dial on the radio and listen to many different people speak. And what you are going to hear is you are going to hear everybody saying the same thing.

Tonight’s broadcast with a Friend of Medjugorje originally aired on December 2, 2008. That’s 16 years ago.  The content of what you will hear tonight we would liken to something like a fine wine that has aged for a long time. Remarkable when we were listening to it before the broadcast tonight to hear the things that a Friend of Medjugorje was saying back in 2008, it’s as if the things that could have been said today.

To hear how he has stayed the course for so long and to hear his understanding of Our Lady and the messages and the way he speaks about Our Lady is edifying to our souls, to our hearts, it renews us every time we hear his words.  So, we offer this broadcast to you tonight, that it will renew your spirit, renew your heart.

The original title of the broadcast was “In Joyful Expectation.”

And so we have something that fits you for your life, the template, the whatever your occupation may be, whatever your life may be whether you are in a situation of going through crisis or in the midst of being in union with God and completely feel at peace and joy and everything is going for you in that way.

Not that life is not got its trials, but the message today applied to millions and millions of people around the world in many, many different ways. And that is the beauty of these messages.

We got a feedback a couple of days ago that said that they no longer wanted to be on the Mej list because they had, the messages just say the same thing. They are not giving them anything. And they follow some other apparitions in Ohio and that theirs are more frequent and more regular and they liked the messages better.

And it was amusing to me because, at the same time a sorrow because anything pulling you away from Medjugorje, anything that distracts right there shows you, is it valid? And someone should question that.

In fact, years ago I wrote a booklet named, “satan wants to destroy Medjugorje.” And it was just about this. How many people get distracted by various other things.

Medjugorje is like striking gold, its like striking the motherload. It is the mother of all apparitions. It is the fulfillment of all apparitions.

It is the last apparitions on earth where they will be able to see Her, touch Her, and talk to Her.

Marija herself has told me this directly. There are other people in the movement that say this is inaccurate. That is false. It is accurate.

Both Marija and Vicka has stated this. Vicka herself has stated this to me very strongly, very clearly.

In fact when we were working on a documentary years ago, in the 80s, I went to Vicka and asked her.

Actually, “The Lasting Sign,” which was the documentary with Martin Sheen, we were actually working with ABC News 20/20. And because they were thinking about naming their piece, “The Last Apparitions on Earth,” they wanted me to verify that.

I went and asked her, I said Vicka, because they were told also back then, that you can’t say that.

So they were hearing from some of the people in Medjugorje, oh, don’t say that because that’s controversial and the more controversy that might come about Medjugorje may hurt Medjugorje so people were falsely trying to protect it, rather than if Our Lady said it, just put it out, don’t worry about the controversy. Because truth is truth.

So I was sent on behalf of ABC 20/20 to ask Vicka herself were these the last apparitions on earth. I caught her, after talking to a group.

I went upstairs in her house and we spoke and I explained to her what we were doing and I said they are thinking about naming this piece “The Last Apparitions on Earth,” this TV piece.

And I asked Vicka, I says is this truth? She says yes.

I say these are the last apparitions on earth? She says yes.

I say so after this, like there won’t be any more apparitions like this? And she says yes.

And I a fourth time I ask her, I says, so Vicka, I need to be real clear with you. Are these the last apparitions on earth?  She says yes!

And she said my name. She says these are the last apparitions on earth.

So, I’ve dealt with this through the years because there are some that say again in Medjugorje in the movement, even sometimes the visionary may say it because this came to Vicka and this came clear to Marija.

Just three years ago I taped her and she, without any doubt said these are the last apparitions.

And some people add “of this kind,” but that disqualifies the importance of saying they are the last apparitions on earth. They are doing this to mundane these apparitions or make them where somebody might not object to them.

It doesn’t matter to me if anyone might objects to them. And it shouldn’t matter to you. They objected to Jesus, and they are going to object to this.

So, there is often a temptation to mundane the message to make it where it won’t cause any kind of excitement or ripple or emotions in people that that sometimes may get out of hand, it’s true, but fact is fact, truth is truth, logic is logic.

If Our Lady said it, we need to put it out without consideration of what someone in authority may think or whether it is the best thing to say that or not.

I have never been a subscriber to that because I believe if Our Lady said it, the visionaries testify because they testify, they are the only ones who hear it.

All I can do or anybody in the movement that is close to the visionaries authenticate that the visionaries said that so we can authenticate a message, but we can’t verify a message in the sense that only the visionaries have that authority to say “yes” Our Lady said that.

And sometimes between the visionaries there are even discrepancies between them because one gets one thing or another perception, even, and may not see it in a correct way that the visionary who had it received it from directly from Our Lady. But there is no doubt that this was said in the beginning days. It is documented from the earlier messages.

I have Words from Heaven which is directly from one of the early diaries kept in the parish house. And so, when someone tells you, be it even a visionary, that these aren’t the last apparitions on earth, or, “I want to requalify, oh ‘of this kind.’”

Yeah, of this kind, but don’t add that to it because that wasn’t in the message, the original message was, “This is the last apparitions on earth.

After this I will not come anymore to the earth.” Now that doesn’t mean we won’t inspired. That doesn’t mean a nun in a convent might not hear from Our Lady in a way.

But the Fatima category, the Lourdes category, the apparitions to come for some purpose for the whole world where they can see Her, touch Her, and speak to Her, this will never come back again.

If you put everything in this context then the apparitions become very, very important and we need to look at them in that light.

And so, placed in this context these are the last apparitions on earth should tell us why are we interested in anything else? What else is there to be interested in?

If you lived 2,000 years ago and walked with Christ, was with Christ, what else is there to worry about? Everything should be second place. And we see a world without hope right now.

We see a world that is turbulent. Our Lady just told Marija, November 25^th,

“…pray without ceasing for this turbulent world without hope…” 

There is no hope in the world. We know it’s going down. Now that doesn’t mean to say that they are at fault without hope because if you follow the world and are in the world, you have no hope. So, you might read that and think

“…pray without ceasing for this turbulent world without hope so you may become witnesses of peace for all. May hope begin to flow through your heart as a river of grace…”

We have hope because we have Her who is hope. We have Her because She’s brought hope and we have a reason to have hope in our heart just as a river of grace. But if you want to reject this.

In fact, I saw another feedback came back. Every now and then they give me some samples of feedbacks. This person said they were no longer interested in Medjugorje.

So, if you reject Medjugorje, you reject hope. And if you want to follow the world and what it’s doing, where is the hope?

I mean everything in the, that we receive today and everything that is happening in society, there is no hope, and everybody says things are going to crash.

It’s true. Why? Because we have something coming in the world every day that is purifying these things out, the corruption, the usury, the ways of society that are contrary to natural law.

All this is fading away. Now is it radically objecting. Yes. It’s not going to happen without revulsion. An evil tumor is not taken out of the body without difficulties and without suffering and without crisis. These things are part of it.

And so, the evil tumors in society are not going to be extracted by the nurse who comes every day, known as the Holy Virgin Mary, to doctor it and nurse it back to health without you know difficulties.

It is just part of the walk. And so, we are to have hope, and I have a lot of hope. I am excited about that Our Lady is here. That She came today. That She said today, “in His wisdom.”

What is His wisdom? And wisdom, I wrote today on the piece that is on Mej, that the book of Wisdom is explaining Our Lady. It says,

“For within her is a spirit of intelligent, holy, unique, Manifold, subtle, agile, clear, unstained, certain, not baneful, loving the good, keen, unhampered, beneficent, kindly, firm, secure, tranquil, all powerful, all seeing and pervading all spirits. Though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle for wisdom is mobile beyond all motion and She penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity. For she is an aura of might, of God and pure infusion of the glory of the Almighty. Therefore, naught the sullied enters into her. For sure she is refulgent and internal light the spotless mirror of the power of God, the image of goodness and she who is one can do all things and renews everything while herself perduring and passing into holy souls from age to age she produces friends of God and prophets. For there is naught God’s love be it not one who dwells with wisdom for she is fairer than the sun and surpasses even constellations of the stars. Compared to light she takes precedent for that indeed night supplants for wickedness prevails not over wisdom.”

This is who came today. This is somebody who is perduring, before she existed, God formed the world and creation after her. Before she came into being, God saw what She would do and had hope for mankind’s salvation and redemption through her.

So even before she was born, even before she was created, even before she was conceived in the womb, She was the salvation and an instrument of co-redemptrix and God saw this and this was good.

And so even now, He forsaw what He would do with Her in Her time, Her own words, “This is my time.” And She is coming every day.

So why would anything else be important? Why would you be so interested in following the world which has no hope? It is not the future.

The future is only in Her. So, how is it going to go with us? How will all be well? You know, what will bring peace on earth? Christ is coming.

We need to tell everybody that, that He is in a manger. He will be there. You know born is now Emmanuel. Our Lady says in this time of Joyful Expectation.

And yet the world is in sorrow. Its losing its money, its investments, its retirements, its jobs, its economy, its way of life, its losing everything and Our Lady is bringing us another and saying be joyful, Joyful Expectation.

On the 25^th She said, “little Jesus to be born in your heart.” He who is peace itself and all will be well. So, lift your voices and sing, born is now Emmanuel. Born is our Lord, our Savior.

This is one beautiful song. We always play it Christmas in the Field and our December 8^th through the 12^th.

It came to me one Thanksgiving Day, November 24^th, 1988, when Our Lady had said even before that She would appear out the next day. And so this was an unexpected thing and we had a lot of, around the big pine tree that’s in the Field now that’s come to be known by thousands of thousands of people across the world.

There were three four-foot pine trees all around that tree because preceding that, for several years, it had been a pasture and neglected, and so these seedlings that came up and so I went out early that morning to bush hog and about eight thirty that morning, one of the stubs that I had just bush hogged with the tractor had chopped off a pine stump and went right through the big tire on the back of the tractor, which the tires are as tall as an average man.

And I knew I was in trouble because Our Lady was going to appear at 10:40 that morning. So, I was able to get it straight back to the shop and I had this Michael W. Smith and I played this thing over and over and over because I knew this was, I didn’t have the capability of taking this tire off and fixing it without just basically a small sledge hammer and one tool.

So, I was praying the whole time and played this song over and over and over along with some other music and then just brought me through, through the strength to do it.

Miraculously it happened. People say it’s not a big miracle doing this tire. If you saw tools I had and how big the hole was, that even held up, go back out there in the Field and have it done at 10 o’clock was a miracle.

So, God spoke to me that day and and I trusted in Our Lady and praying to Her that She would work it out and She did. Not without a difficult path which sometimes God gives you these things and things can be running perfectly in your day and in your life or in your home or your job or your work, or your marriage, or your family and satan will drop a monkey wrench right into the gears to break a few teeth off to see how you are going to handle that situation.

And so, things are difficult and maintaining peace is often difficult. But this is what this December 8^th through the 12^th event is about. And it’s for us to come to peace and to bring peace to our nation.

Marija once told me when we had 25 couples consecrate their marriage back in the 80s in Medjugorje that every family is like a little church and a family lives in a home.

And so that has a lot to contemplate. You know, the destruction of the home means what? The destruction of the family. The destruction of the family is the destruction of marriage.

Ivan once said something incredible, that how satan gest into the family, and he says that they, its usually through a sin of one of the spouses commits a grave sin, and then satan can go after each one of the children.

It lets him into the family. And so, from there, of course what we’ve seen is the falling and destruction of the family.

Our Lady said April 24^th, 1984, in Medjugorje, this is an important period to understand, at this point in time Our Lady was guiding the village. She was giving pre-messages before the Thursday messages, but a lot of those were personal direction and then She moved into the Thursday messages which was a weekly message which in turn started guiding the village to prepare for the coming of the world to them and for their formation that they’ll deal with once She gave the monthly messages which began January 25, 1987.

So this is a formation message but it gives a real interesting thing about the home. Our Lady said April 24, 2984,

“Many times confronting justice and confronting your sins, many times I returned from your home in tears. I could not say a single word. I am your mother and I do not want to oppose you, but what I should do in you is up to you. We must rejoice in Jesus and make Him happy.”

And of course, the central thing this, Our Lady says is what we are not doing in the home. “I return from your home,” but actually what does that what is in the home? The heart.

What is in the heart of the home? Is there love? Is there peace? Is there patience? So Our Lady says, “I leave your homes, I return from your home.”

Where was She returning to? Heaven! Can you imagine this Queen, this Wisdom, these last apparitions on earth, She comes to our home, or the villagers home where the visionaries are speaking in reference to the village of Medjugorje and anyone else in the world now and returns to Heaven in tears.

Pretty profound. So, the home today is not in peace. It’s not in peace because it is without God. It’s not in peace because its without hope.

March 18, 1996, Our Lady says, “Consecrate your hearts and make it the home of the Lord…”.

Our Lady told Mairja to “pray for little Jesus to be born in your heart.”

I just read about the March 18^th message, “your heart and make it the home of the Lord.”

Our Lady said “as I bore Jesus in my womb I want to bear you into holiness.”

She wants to birth you into this. It’s the only path to peace. We must realize this in this time where society is without hope because it deserves no hope.

It’s path is one of destruction. There can be no hope and us following the ways of society and the world and which way it is going.

You can hear the truth prophetically being spoken. You can read about it every day what is happening, where we are headed as a people, as a nation, as a world.

And its self-correcting because that which is without hope destroys. And rightfully so. It’s a purification. So, we’ve got to see and understand that we are a world without peace. Our homes are not with peace.

We have constantly this barrage of satan’s voice and his ways and hate is strong today. It mocks righteous things.

It mimics in sacrcasm holy people, makes them ashamed for those who are weak. I’m trying to be good.

And it projects the idea that God is dead and He is asleep.

We have in this valley, bells that will ring, and those who have visited have known this for a while but it rings such a sweetness to us.

It creates a heritage here for us and all the villages of old always had these bells.

You can go to Europe and still hear them. And you can hear them now sometimes across the country of the United States, but it’s not like it used to be even in this country, especially Europe.

One of the first things we did back in the early days, the first thing we spent money on was the bell. In fact, we couldn’t afford it for the Tabernacle.

We wanted a 2,000 pound bell. It was fifty thousand dollars. There was no way we could buy that. It’s like Mother Teresa’s says, “I don’t have the money when we don’t have money. But God has lots of money.”

So we prayed, we prayed God give us this bell. Mary find us a bell. And within one week of prayer, because the steeple on the Tabernacle was about to be closed up within a few weeks, we knew we had to get a bell quick.

Exactly what we wanted was a 2,000 pound bell. It was used. It was 99 years old. It spent its 100^th year in the top of the steeple in the Tabernacle. It was made in Germany.

Beautiful sound, a beautiful joy for the kids to ring it. It rings every day and serves notice to the mountains, the animals, the people that the Queen of Peace has appeared here.

And it will ring Christmas Day here and these bells for us is a heritage. It’s a comfort and while it may distract even some neighbors, many of the neighbors say that they love to hear this sound of the bells.

Where has this life gone too? We’ve lost it because we are a world that hates a strong or hates what is strong and what is strong is of God. So, God is not asleep.

But satan wants us to think He is. So, we come to you with these words of Our Lady that there is peace on earth.

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

I thought how, as the day had come,

And in despair I bowed my head:
“There is no peace on earth,” I said,

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:

So, where’s the peace but in you. Who does Our Lady look to, but you, to give peace to others.
