We can pity ourselves. We can feel sorry for ourselves. But if we compare ourselves to Jesus, we have no room for self-pity. And now, in our time, Heaven is sending Our Lady who has come to tell us of the pain and suffering that pierced Her Heart.
You might be walking down a road that is difficult in life right now. There was a road that literally went through hell, and Our Lady has been down it.
