The following is Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s April 25th, 2009 monthly message to the world:
Prayer, eggs, goats, kids, sheep and one asleep – all this makes a life of peace.
A typical day during apparition time, today, April 25, 2009. During this quiet moment when the picture was taken today, Saturday, Our Lady was speaking to Marija Her words:
After today’s Rosary, leaving the Field of Apparitions with children and goats in tow.
The path walked daily to the Field, honoring the apparition time, is a path to encounter Our Lady’s messages cultivated into a way of peace and life. Words given by Our Lady today, given for the whole world, just a few moments before this picture was taken, have formed those above into a prophetic life that once we hear Our Lady’s words, often we already by spirit initiated them.

Think where were you today, April 25, when Our Lady came to the earth to bless you. Where were you? What were you doing? Was your heart disposed to receive Our Lady’s blessing? Did you fail to recognize what is being offered to you?
Older community members couldn’t help but reminisce that this exact picture was taken ten years ago, the only thing different is that the kids on the horse are different kids. Rosary time today, April 25, 2009. The Rosary bells call them to drop their work and “trail” to the Apparition Field to pray, walking from many sub-trails to three main trails where they end at the spot consecrated by Our Lady’s apparitions. It is a very profound part of their daily life. Often the children will bring an animal, such as their horse “Circle 6,” to the Rosary. The Rosary is often joyful even when they pray the Sorrowful mysteries. While they pray, the children play. Years of Rosaries in many circumstances have created many memories they hold in their hearts. As the children grow up, they too fondly remember so many happy moments during the Rosary. It is as Our Lady has said,
“…pray, until prayer becomes a joy for you…” October 25, 2000
A Friend of Medjugorje
Everyone contributed something to the celebration. Pictured above are cakes made from the labor of love by the hands of the young girls of the community. It was their special contribution to the celebration of the baptism of our four little ones.
The Baptism took place in the church of Blessed Sacrament in Birmingham.
This past February, Our Lady appeared in the above alcove of this church at the wedding of one of the community couples. Though it is only a statue, through it Our Lady seems to be looking over those gathered beneath Her, especially the new babies that have been born through families that have dedicated their lives to Her.
Victoria Maria being baptized, surrounded by the smiles and joy of the community. The message picked the morning of the baptism when the community met for prayer was very touching to everyone as it was the perfect description of what baptism means.

The community gathers back home for a celebration dinner, after taking time to ponder Our Lady’s latest message while listening to Radio Wave. This room, that a short time ago was filled with decorations for a wedding, was now decorated in pink and blue, as the natural progression of marriage brings forth new life.
Little Rebekah can hardly contain her excitement as she opens her little brother’s baptism gifts. There is a saying that “all good things must come to an end” but for these little children, each morning they discover a brand new day of fun and adventure, protected under the mantle of prayer Our Lady established here through the community that Our Lady, herself, began.

I especially enjoyed today’s Radiowave broadcast. Having had the privilege of visiting Caritas several times over the past years, I can wholeheartedly attest to the fact that you enter Heaven upon arrival and experience all the joys that were spoken of by a Friend of Medjugorje. The peace, joy and love of our Lord and our Lady permeate the daily prayer, work and play of the entire community. As much as I miss my own family while I am there, whenever I leave to come home, I literally have to prayerfully prepare myself to re-enter my own daily routine. Caritas is Heaven on Earth and as I try to live out our Lady’s messages in my own personal circumstances, I know I am also working on seamless living into Eternity. Thank you most beautiful Community of Caritas. I do so love you all!
