Sometimes, blessings are received from an unlikely source, or even an unfortunate incident. The following came to us yesterday:
“Last year I took a tumble down an entire flight of stairs and sustained a concussion, as well as damage to my knee that ultimately required surgery. Luckily, I had extra health coverage that eventually gave me some money. Before I received my payment, I told the Lord that if I received enough to go to Medjugorje, I would definitely go. Is it of any surprise that I received just enough? Praise the Lord!! I was also lucky to have enough to send a contribution to getting this website back up and running. I pray that the remaining money comes soon.”

In every circumstance, are our thoughts on God and His causes, even when one may have an excuse to think of themselves and their needs? A Friend of Medjugorje has always said that God is our first solution, not our last. In every circumstance, His needs are first not our own needs. This is how the mission of Caritas operates, often times, starving ourselves of our own needs for the sake of the work of Our Lady. Continue to pray for people to be inspired to give and help reach this goal, especially those who have great means to give abundantly. Tomorrow, an important update from a Friend of Medjugorje about the future of Mej.com, will be posted. Be in prayer for this important update tomorrow, Wednesday, July 12.
