Our Lady in Medjugorje calls us to recognize the signs of the times we live in…

As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we can look around us, and see clearly the culture of death and darkness will not continue.
A beautiful morning sunrise behind Our Lady in the Field of Apparitions at Caritas reminds us of Our Lady’s words on September 25, 1998:
“…Little children, you seek signs and messages and do not see that, with every morning sunrise, God calls you to convert and to return to the way of truth and salvation…”
As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we can look around us, and see clearly the culture of death and darkness will not continue. Resurrection the world seeks will happen through the death of life as we know it. Our Lady of Medjugorje is teaching us to recognize the signs of the times clearly through Her messages. Influential sources talk about the signs: decline of marriage and family, moral and economic decline, the increasing darkness surrounding our nation and world, the division in the Body of Christ, yet with all this talk, nothing changes.
Our Lady said on April 2, 2006:
Our Lady says “come”
Come – to move towards, to advance nearer; to begin some act or to move

Follow – to move in the same direction, to imitate; to copy (as many imitate the fashions of society, Our Lady asks us to imitate Her example), to obey; to observe; to practice; to act

Jesus’ words to His apostles that we read in Scripture, “Come, follow Me,” led to profound teachings, miracles and eventually to the Cross, which brought the resurrection. Those who follow Our Lady will move in the same direction. They will be taught through Our Lady’s words, given signs, and brought to the death of old ways of living through conversion, to resurrect in a new way of life and joy.
