The day after the failed assassination attempt on her husband, President Donald Trump, former First Lady, Melania Trump, wrote a letter, rather a plea to the American people. If you have not had the opportunity to read her letter, we include it here:
Melania writes like Our Lady speaks. Perhaps that is not by coincidence.
Melania was only 11 years old when Our Lady began appearing in Medjugorje in 1981. Melania had been born in 1970 and lived just five hours from Medjugorje, in what is now the country of Slovenia.
It is without a doubt that she knew of the heavenly events as they were happening.
When Our Lady appears to the Medjugorje visionaries, She speaks in the Croatian language to them.
Once when Our Lady was appearing here at Caritas, I was in awe when Our Lady said to Marija in answer to where and when the apparition would be tomorrow:
What surprised me was that Our Lady used words and expressed them in the same way common to us in our everyday language. Marija was amused when I expressed surprise, saying, “Our Lady knows our language.”
Melania is Slovenian, not Croatian, but the two Slavic nations are neighbors, they are both Catholic countries and they share a common heritage and culture.
Therefore, it may be by God’s design that Melania’s verbiage is similar to Our Lady’s.
What is felt in reading Melania’s letter is a genuine desire to break down walls of division and inspire Americans to “ASCEND” above hate and violence, and embrace, instead a spirit of respect, love, compassion and unity.

Does Our Lady’s words not capture the spirit of what Melania has written? Melania knows what hatred leads to if it is allowed to grow. She experienced the horrific war in her own country when she was 22 years old. It was an assassin’s bullet in Sarajevo that started WWI. Melania would have known that history, having been born in that same region. Sarajevo was part of Yugoslavia when she was growing up. Was she seeing a parallel in the assassination attempt on her own husband? Is she concerned that the same thing could happen here?
To speak of WWI, leads back to the year 1917, when Our Lady appeared to three young children on the 13th of six consecutive months, starting in May and ending in October. Fatima, where Our Lady prophesied a greater war would take place if Her requests were not heeded, and true to Her words, WWII began in 1939. Fatima, that was birthed under the shadow of a prophesy given to Pope Leo XIII in which he had a vision of satan requesting a period of 100 years from God to try the Church. The fact that Trump was shot on July 13th connects him to the prophetic events of Fatima.
There is one particular line in Melania Trump’s letter that could not have been placed there by chance, a familiar line, one that had once “ASCENDED” high in the skies throughout the United States. Melania wrote:
“The winds of change have arrived.”
In 1990, when Caritas of Birmingham was just a few years old, I started a billboard program across the United States to spread Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje.
The program was a great success in bringing hearts to Our Lady and I have resurrected it many times with different billboards throughout the years.
In the year 2017, the year Donald Trump took office as the President of the United States, I created a new billboard and it “ascended” into the skies across our nation.
The year 2017 was significant not only because it began Trump’s presidency, but because it was the 100th anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions in Fatima and represented the end of the 100 years of satan allowed by God to try the Church. Hence the title of the billboard:
On July 26, 2017, as the billboards were going up, I wrote the following in describing not “what” the “winds of change” are but “who” the “Wind of Change” is:
“When air becomes stagnant, it becomes unhealthy, suffocating, toxic. The toxic winds of hatred, wars of unbelief, strife in families, unrest in nations have reached a critical point where the air has become deadly.
“The God who first breathed life into man has blown a new wind, by sending the Mother Whose love will clear the air, and resuscitate that which is on the point of suffocation. This “Wind of Change” is blowing into every corner of the world. At this turning point of your life you have met face to face with this Wind, and now face a choice from this appointment with destiny to be resuscitated or suffocated. Are you choking? Are you drowning? Has your life become stale?
“The Woman you see, this “Wind of Change,” is the Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus.”

Dear Friend Of Medjugorje, you asked us to reach out to journalists regarding whats happening in Medjugorje! Just wondered if any journalists might be interested in story. If so, is anyone interested in a story, if so you do t have to tell us who! Also, I was wondering if you had old story on readers digest and was it sixty minutes. I would love to see them. I have only been following this site for less than 2 years. Thank you for all your insight! Dawn, this is a door that has to be knocked on, again and again. Its important for people to share a Friend of Medjugorje’s writings, broadcasts, etc. Get your friends to join in. The more people who contact journalists, the more likely they are to look seriously at it.
