Thank you Friend of Medjugorje for a very positive and encouraging message in “The Seekers” October newsletter. It is getting increasingly harder to be that joyful seeker. At times I feel guilty that I don’t have that joyfulness as I strive to live Our Lady’s message in this very dark world. I can’t find any solace in my parish as something is missing in the guidance given to find it. Gone are the exhortations for holiness. Gone are same for purity. Gone is the urging to pray for the Holy Souls in purgatory, beyond the Mass’s liturgy content…indeed the very belief such a place exits. Gone are the reminders hell is real and we risk going there. Gone is the bountiful message of
Divine Mercy Sunday and the chaplet. Gone are the lessons of the rosary. Gone are the urgings to strive for grace and sanctity. Of course not one word about Medjugorje, or the most important messages. Instead, there’s plenty of homilies on justice, equality, acceptance [abomination] and of new ways of “being church”…if we want our faith to survive. Really? I could go on and on. A lot of the content is misguided and maddening to someone who follows the Magisterium. What has happened to the faith of my childhood? Does the average person know how Vatican II really changed our faith? It’s very hard to be joyful while I cling fiercely to what I know is right in my heart of all these truths and only see them in what Our Lady and FOM is saying. Few Catholic friends share my viewpoint and I feel so sad and hungry for truth and am so alone in the desert until I am fed and comforted by the words of Heaven and of Caritas. I’ve been a field angel 30 years plus and have saved all my newsletters. They are treasures to be used as guideposts for the Kingdom I hope to enter into one day because of refining and reflecting how I am really living what they say. I no longer work or shop on Sundays though it took a long time to accept this reality…this commandment. I still have many imperfections to work on but, who doesn’t? The reality of all this is a daily battle and the most imporatant goal of my life. I had to cry at the beauty of this last newsletter. I do so want to see the Star of Our Lady and step into eternity having done my best to witness Godliness and to do good for our neighbors and others despite their most often blind, deaf response. What has happened to gratitude? I realize it’s part of my Calvery. Jesus experienced this so often. Everyday I pick up my crosses and am grateful for the profound honor of receiving this confirmation I am carrying them for a Heavenly purpose. Oh for the joy of the day when so many will join me! For the joy of that day when the Holy Spirit and Mary’s strength will empower souls and they will truly choose then to witness faith and love, choose Mary and choose Christ and I will no longer be so alone. There is hope and there is joy waiting and thanks dear Mother Mary and Caritas for helping us realize and remember this!

Thank you FOM for your wisdom and guidance to Our Lady’s messages. One of the phrases that stuck out to me was “Do good to your neighbour so that it will be good for you on earth”. There are a lot of self help / motivational speakers around that talk about the “cause and effect” of your actions. Other well known phrases are “Karma” and “What goes around comes around” and “Universal Laws of the universe” – I’m sure there are more phrases than this. I find it fascinating that one way to read Our Lady’s message is that if you don’t do good things then that comes back to haunt you, and the exact opposite is true. I’m certain this phrase will be used for a thousand years by the motivational speakers of the future to remind everyone that God confirmed on this day “what goes around comes around” so be good to people so you get good things as a reward. 100 fold has been mentioned many times. It was mentioned in the podcast – “when you give you receive”. This is such a simple thing to follow, but like everything, simple doesn’t mean easy because we are all sinners. I remember one motivational guy saying he experimented once to prove to everyone and tried to outgive God with tithes (the 10% minimum), and the more he gave the more blessings he received in far greater number. One question I’ll never forget and I ask lots of people this too to gauge their understanding of how the world works spiritually, “Who pays you your pay cheque?” (I’m an Aussie – money is spelt like that not check as in the USA!!). The answer is of course God pays – but most people say “their employers name” but not God. There is a lot of work to do with this generation, to correct their thinking. Yes I agree too, we on the outside are mandated as your partner / Navy Seals however you want to say it. We will need Caritas very much and dare I say it as an analogy, we are all part of a hand and each digit is needed otherwise the hand doesn’t function properly. God bless and keep up the great work.

    Dear Caritas family

I have been with you all since 1994. I have seen your children grow up and have their children.
I have seen Our Lady’s hand in all that you do.

These times are dark but thank you for shining all the light of Our Lady and her messages.

    God Bless

God Bless you all, had a wonderful time, “Gathering Stones,” with you in the Woods. The family upstairs just welcomed their second child, “A Time of Birth,” a daughter upon my return home. Before I left to see you, they’d just given their lives over to Christ, Amen! I pray again they receive Our Lady’s Special Blessing even more and grow ever closer to Our Lord. Hope to see you for, “Christmas in the Field.” Please Pray for me, though my project is so small compared to yours, pray for the planned Greenhouse to be, “built up,” and ready for when it will be needed. Give me Courage Mother, I’ve never built anything like this ever before….be my guide in all things, and bring me to Your Son. God Bless,
    (Bear)
