A batch of some of the most famous bread ever. This is Italian bread, from a Friend of Medjugorje’s family recipe. It takes a bag of flour, all day, and lots of love to make!
People are responding to a Friend of Medjugorje’s invitation to join in the 9-day bread and water fast, October 5-13, 2020. We are halfway through the month of March in assigning days! One person from Australia wrote in:
“I would love to join you for the 9 days fast in October. More than ever, the whole world needs to join to ask Our Beautiful Mother to intercede for us, as so many souls are on the way to perdition. Thank You Father, in Jesus name for sending hope, Grace, love through Our Lady. It’s Her time now to be crowned Queen of the whole world. Prayers and fasting are for the protection of Caritas. May God bless your works ‘Friend of Medjugorje’ above and beyond. Thank you for being part of my conversion.”

What we want to share today, on the 70th anniversary of Pope Pius XII’s declaration of Our Lady’s Assumption, is that we are seeing that people are more excited this year than in many previous years to join this fast. Hello! This family would love to join you all in the 9-day bread and water fast. We are an American family of 6 who have been living in London for the past 8 years and are so very thankful for the work you all do at Caritas. We%uFFFDve been following Medjugorje since 2004 and my husband and I had the Blessed chance to pilgrimage while I was 8 months pregnant with our first child in April 2006. A friend of Medjugorje has helped us keep up with the truth of goings-on in America as well as been a wonderful example for us in living Our Lady%uFFFDs messages. We are so very grateful!
