In Our Lady’s latest October 25th message, given here at Caritas, She said through Marija:
“…the fruit of prayer is joy, giving and witnessing God to others – through your life…”
This is precisely what happened 31 years ago today, November 19, 1988.
The Bedroom of Apparitions, in the home of a Friend of Medjugorje and his wife. This is the place Our Lady chose to make Her appearance here at Caritas. The foundation of many apparitions which have taken place here.
When Our Lady gave Her recent October 25, 2019, message, Her words were a witness themselves, of what happened on this day 31 years ago. On November 19, 1988, Our Lady’s first apparition took place in the home of a Friend of Medjugorje and his wife.
After a Friend of Medjugorje began to make changes in his life, particularly after the October 6, 1986, message, in which Our Lady told him to live in humility and witness by his life, through several years of prayer, sacrifices and giving up of many things dear to him, by a miraculous set of circumstances, a path was cleared for Our Lady to come to his home.
From the very first day, November 19, 1988, Our Lady began to change the pattern of Her apparitions, appearing at different times, and giving daily messages, when even in Medjugorje She was giving a message only once a month. It became clear that Our Lady had come to establish a place outside of Medjugorje, but, a part of Her Medjugorje plan.
