Our Lady will be giving a message for the world in just a few days. It is important to be in prayer until then. Our Lady said on July 25, 2019:
“My call for you is prayer. May prayer be a joy for you and a wreath which binds you to God.…”
Prayer is not a suggestion, it is the call, our “calling” which will give us joy and make us grow.
Medjugorje August 19, 2019 – One of millions which line the sides of the paths, small flowers grow wild on the path to Apparition Mountain in Medjugorje.
For Our Lady, prayer is not a suggestion, it is a calling, a must for Her apostles. Medjugorje visionary Vicka shares more about how Our Lady has explained prayer to the visionaries, and how it can be a joy:
When Our Lady says that we should pray, it doesn’t mean that we should just use our lips to pray, but we should use our hearts. Every day we should open our hearts so that prayer may become a joy for us. Our Lady gave us a beautiful example when She said all of you have a flowerpot at home. If you water this flower every day, if you pour the right amount of water, you are going to see what it looks like – it is getting a beautiful rose.” It is almost the same example with our heart. If we put in our heart every day the right amount of prayer, our heart will be growing and blossoming like a beautiful rose. But if we don’t water the flower for a few days, we are going to see very soon what it looks like – as if it never existed before. The same thing happens with us. When the time for prayer comes, we may say, “Today I am tired, I will do my prayers tomorrow.” Tomorrow, by tomorrow, we never find the time for prayer and in this way, we let all bad influences enter into our heart.

Not tomorrow, but today is the time for prayer. Our Lady will have words for us in two days, August 25, 2019. Let our hearts be prepared by prayer, to grow by Our Lady’s words as a flower watered by the rain.
