Open the Door to an Eternal Tradition

Begin Today: Our Lady of Medjugorje inspires a new tradition, one that unites Heaven to earth; one that will build an eternal way of life for you…

October 31, 2013 A.D.

Our Lady of Medjugorje inspires a new tradition, one that unites Heaven to earth; one that will build an eternal way of life for you. Open the door tonight to a way of life and close the door to the “death” that today’s culture of death offers your family.

Papa Tony's Grave at Caritas

Papa Tony, the father of our founder, died almost a year ago, on November 30, 2012. His life was a witness, lived for love of God and others. 14 years before Papa Tony died, Our Lady spoke these words from the Bedroom of Apparitions on November 30, 1988:

“I wish that all your life be love, only love. Everything that you do, do it with love. In every little thing, see Jesus and His example. You also do as Jesus did. He died out of love for you. You also offer all you do with love to God, even the smallest little things of everyday life.”

Reflecting on the way that Our Lady has shown through the life of the Community of Caritas, the following was written in 2007 by A Friend of Medjugorje:

“Our whole life is structured by a system that must be destroyed and rebuilt. Our home places are built without thought and reflection and our lives are spent in a structure designed by a world of godless thoughts, inspired by consumerism. Building subdivisions are useless for life and culture. Our cemeteries, meanwhile, are located across town in which the system forces the transportation of its citizens, a useless spending of time that is unnecessary because God has a better way to meaningfully live out our lives. Here at Caritas, in our community, one of our most beautiful places is our cemetery. Our life is structured where it is part of our daily life. Everyday it is visited by several community members who pause, kneel and pray when we walk the path through it on the way to Rosary, our work or when going home. It gives us heritage and heritage gives us roots. It is why the future must consist of small villages, where you can walk to meet most of your needs both the necessities and cultural needs for real life. Why will it happen? Because Our Lady wants us to live a simple life. How will it happen? Just like it happened here. By following Our Lady’s messages. They give birth to a way of life, a way of life that is “thoughtful” and encompasses even those who lay in our cemetery, that they be remembered daily in our prayers. A place built in peace.”

Building a World Without God

Tonight, take the opportunity to give birth to a new tradition in your family. On behaf of Our Lady, the Community of Caritas invites you join with us in celebrating the Feast of Morta in your family. Many across the world are following in this tradition that Our Lady inspired our founder to celebrate each October 31. Open the door tonight to a way of life, and close the door to the death that today’s culture offers your family. The Community spends this night as one family, united in communion with the souls in Heaven, as we celebrate the Feast of Morta, a tradition in the way of life Our Lady showed our founder to begin. Tonight, with your family, pause and reflect on the direction of your life as individuals and as a family. Resolve to draw closer to God and the life He is calling us to through Our Lady. To learn more about what Our Lady inspired our founder to do to celebrate this feast, and how you can be in union, visit here…

Andrea's Grave at Caritas

Now a part of the cemetery that she walked through every day of her life in the Community, Andrea becomes a witness to this seamless way of life she lived on earth. Our Lady calls us to build a lasting heritage. Walking through this cemetery daily, our children have heritage, they have a living relationship with their loved ones who live now in Heaven. Our cemetery is a place of joy, of memories, of prayer. It is a place to reflect on this life and look forward to the life to come.
