Medjugorje August 19, 2019 – After months of hard work in the fields, the grapes put forth their fruits, ready to be harvested.
Nothing comes free. In order to receive anything in return, one has to put forth effort. If one wants to receive a beautiful life, one must work for it. A Friend of Medjugorje explains more:
The privilege of knowing Our Lady’s messages, the beautiful gift and privilege of a call to bring the community into being did not come without great difficulties, and a lot of work through blood, sweat and tears, crosses, hardships, persecution, hatred and slanders towards us, all of which contained the ingredients that made the early Christians who they were formed and molded to be. With our lives we testify to joy by the birthing of the physical manifestation of Our Lady’s words:

Our life of sacrifice, our life of living for others and for their salvation has brought purpose and meaning that enriches our lives. This results in joy. We understand who we are. Yes, we are sinners, but sinners who have been rescued from a broken society and its destructive ways—ways which are as a millstone around one’s neck before being thrown into the sea. Our Lady has rescued us, shown us a way, the way for a new future that is coming for all the world.
