Our Lady of Medjugorje said on November 25, 1991:
“Pray that you might be able to comprehend what God desires to tell you through my presence and through the messages I am giving you…”
We have two things speaking to us: the messages and the presence of Our Lady. Through these two things, God is desiring to “tell us” things. This is important to know, in order to understand why Our Lady does not say certain things.

What happened at Caritas was not something which a Friend of Medjugorje necessarily “envisioned”, but rather, it is what Our Lady “revealed.” Our Lady sometimes spoke to a Friend of Medjugorje through the visionary Marija. A Friend of Medjugorje has always said that in Medjugorje, Our Lady has rarely ever spoken about specific world events or people – in fact, almost never. Why? Why is Our Lady not specific in “naming names,” or calling out bad people? One reason a Friend of Medjugorje tells us, is so that the messages will be timeless, speaking to the future as much as to the present. But, there is another really big reason why. To understand it, we first have to look at what Our Lady is doing through Her messages and Her presence. A Friend of Medjugorje explains this very clearly:
The world is in a tangle and it cannot get free on its own. It is being strangled by its own doing. However, God, in His mercy, will help us. This can be compared to a little boy playing with his mother’s ball of yarn. First, he slowly toys with it but gets more and more tangled in it. While struggling to get free from it, he becomes more tangled and endangers himself with strangulation. Hearing him choking, his mother runs to his rescue but cannot free him immediately because of the risk of choking him further and doing permanent harm. So she works with all the speed, patience, intensity and concern she can, delicately untangling this string and severing another, detaching the strings one by one with a steady hand until she gets to the string around his neck and frees him. The child saw absolutely no danger in the ball of yarn and, in fact, couldn’t have seen the potential danger.
Just as the mother came to her child’s rescue, Mary is sent to the world which is choking with sin. The family is so entangled that to make any rapid moves would run the risk of breaking up the family and causing more harm. So with intensity, concern, patience, and speed, Our Lady delicately begins freeing us from the stranglehold of the society man has built, knowing all the while if the process moves too quickly it will rupture relationships. In Her wisdom, She initiates our formation through prayer and, in this way, She slowly frees us. There are casualties along the way because of obstinate hearts who refuse the grace to change and make a clean break with the direction in which the world is going, yet others go forward.

We learn two things. First, the tangle of the world is such that Our Lady knows that She simply cannot say certain things because it will alienate people who are otherwise good-willed. As a Friend of Medjugorje was once told by a Cardinal in Rome, there are many good people doing bad things. There are good people following bad people, or who are involved in bad movements or false religions. So instead, Our Lady gets everyone to pray and live Her messages. Those who are good-willed see the truth when their heart is ready. Secondly, why does Our Lady not just call out all the “bad actors” out there? Because, as a Friend of Medjugorje shared in the parable above, no one is exempt – She would have to call out everyone by name. There is one bad actor Our Lady calls out – satan. All we have to do is see the evidence of satan to know what Our Lady is really calling out, by not calling it out. *

But, Our Lady told the Medjugorje visionaries not to go see the other children from Izbicno. Why? Our Lady said that those other apparitions in Izbicno were to awaken the faith in that area. Medjugorje, however, is for the salvation of the entire world. The Medjugorje apparitions serve a different purpose, that will last until the end of time. I would say the real reason for Medjugorje not saying anything is also those visions are being extremely scrutinized by the church and is more church based except in the secrets a bit. She is saying stuff but to other people and in other visions. Some in 1800s and some now, note look at Luz de Maria visions South America Argentina and look up Marie Julie Jahnneys visions with our lady of lilles in France . Not completely sure on the Luz de Maria but seems to have some validity due to meeting with both Medjugorje warning and Julie’s great monarch, and Jahnneys have been approved.
I am puzzled as to why the visionries cannot ask Mary to intercede in the healing of people with covids. It has now come to my family. I see Mary and the visionaries never address this most diabolical virus that is killing our people all over the world.
I was trying to send a pray request, try at least three tlme’s did not succeed. So now I come across [a Friend of Medjugorje’s] writing, which I read a long time ago, Now i see my family all entangled with unforgiveness, nastiness, I think our Blessed Mother is telling me she is going to undo the web around us. FOR me to keep on praying, feelings or neither right or wrong at times I feel alone, I do keep myself active,pray, spiritual reading, I have been blessed I been able to receive the Sacred Host. and I do keep on smiling. I totally believe what you said about the process moving to quickly, it may rupture relationships. Family, friends and church friends. Sometimes I think that people want their timing as opposed to God’s and Mary’s. To the comment about she can’t say certain things because it will alienate people who are otherwise good willed people. I perceive this as true too–she doesn’t want to push individuals aside but bring them together–to heal the individual, family and the nation.
God sends Her to us out of love, and therefore the love that She offers us is not the kind of love that is made of sand that falls and collapses so easily. The love that She offers us is strong and great. The messages that She gives us is united to the will of the Eternal Father and its content is full of love that God wants to be relayed through Her and that messages will last for many ages and ages…
