On Friday night in Medjugorje, Our Lady gave us words through Ivan, during his prayer group meeting on Apparition Mountain. Our Lady said several very important things:

Our Lady’s words are directed to, “you,” to those listening to Her messages. Why did Our Lady make a point in repeating Herself throughout this message to Ivan? This in itself, is a message.
The statue of Our Lady looks out over the village of Medjugorje, during Ivan’s prayer group, a week ago. What does Our Lady see, when She looks out over the village of Medjugorje?
Our Lady in repeating Herself in the May 4, 2018, message through Ivan, is showing that She wants it to be clearly understood, that She is asking something of “you.” What is this something She is asking?
When Our Lady first appeared in Medjugorje on June 24, 1981, She appeared on Apparition Mountain, facing the village. What did Our Lady see when She looked out over the village of Medjugorje? She saw a simple-hearted agrarian people, devoid of modernism, living off the land, relying on Divine Providence.
Our Lady said on May 4, 2018, through Ivan:
“To all those coming…” The conversion of those who go to Medjugorje, are conversions which happen as a result of seeing “signs”. Medjugorje is a sign, as Our Lady said on April 25, 1992:
It was Our Lady’s intention for Medjugorje to be a witness of how to live a simple life, according to Her messages.
It is true, that the village of Medjugorje has become more commercialized. Did Our Lady see this on June 24, 1981, that Her village might be covered house to house, shop to shop, but knowing that there would be those who come, who would return to their homes and move closer to the soil, closer to the simpler way of life that She once saw when She looked out over Her Holy Village?
Of this, is what Caritas is a witness. I did not move to Medjugorje, I made my home Medjugorje. I felt in my heart to already make these changes, then was confirmed years later when I got involved in Medjugorje. Medjugorje visionary Marija said during a visit here at Caritas that, “Caritas is what Medjugorje used to be like.”
We hear from many people who have gone on pilgrimage with us to Medjugorje, who go home and try to do the same, like one man from Canada recently wrote to us. He left his high paying job, and moved 26 hours away, taking on a job as a farm hand, so as to learn how to be more simple, and build a simpler life for this family. The words of the man from Canada, who recently wrote to us said:
“…In entirety, God has made this change possible for me. I believe firmly, because of my heart turning to Mary’s messages of Medjugorje, through the experience with BVM Pilgrimages and the Community of Caritas in Birmingham, God has paved the path of this change in my life…”
The messages of Our Lady point to a very plain fact: This simple way of life is the future of the world.
When Our Lady asks for us to live Her messages in order to be a sign to others, are we open to what She might mean by that? The man from Canada wrote to us:
“…The farm I am living at has birds singing all morning and day. PRAISE be Jesus and Mary!! …I don’t know what the future holds, I trust God will provide, Mary will guide… I am closer to God than I have ever been…”
Meditate and pray. Look at the way the world is going and ask whether it is the way you ought to be going. Listen to Our Lady’s messages with your heart. Your heart will tell you the answer. It will not be easy to change. I started making moves towards this years before Medjugorje came into my life, and we are still working at it. But, even though it is not easy, God provides a way for you to be closer to Him than you ever have been. Pray in order to be a sign and be willing to be the sign.

I also have a spouse who is far from seeing and like Meg, we have no means, but I am now on my 3rd 54 day novena with my children, because in so many random messages She is telling me to pray as a family! Pray with your children! This is my prayer that only God’s grace can fulfill! “Please enable us to become debt free! Provide the ability to purchase land and begin a simple life with You! Please prepare a place for us and lead us to it, not only for my family but also those who have no means or have no idea of what is coming! Help us to help others in that moment!” Truthfully, I don’t even know if Her place will even be in California the way things seem to be going here. But, I will continue to pray, because it is not just my family! All we need to do is look around. Even some of those we know who have been to Medjugorje do not feel or hear this call! Holy Mother please pray for us!

Thank you for this writing. It put my heart at peace. My husband and I have been called towards an agrarian life ever since God called us together. My heart aches because I feel he is motivated by the wrong reasons, and is not progressing with God as his guide, taking all worries upon his own shoulders. Now I feel that God will get us where we need to be and conversion will happen along the way. “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.”
