It seems that as each day goes by, the world becomes more and more dangerous. It can lead one to ask, “Where is God?” Our Lady said on September 25, 1999:
Yet, it is we who are not near Him.
A lone praying pilgrim on Cross Mountain in Medjugorje. The seeking of God through prayer, penance and living our state in life to perfection, brings us close to His heart, which is never far from us.
God is not far from us, even if we are far from Him. Medjugorje visionary Ivanka tells us:
“…The only thing that depends upon us is how much we want to open ourselves to God. I am here in front of you to tell you that God is here among us, that He has not distanced Himself from us, but that we people have distanced ourselves from Him. He has sent His Mother to us for Her to show us the right way which we need to take…”1
God’s nearness is found in Our Lady’s presence everyday. It is why Our Lady said on July 2, 2016:
Safety is in Her arms, because God is granting it in this time. In these dangerous days, become closer to Our Lady in every way possible.
