Six years ago today, Our Lady appeared in the Bedroom of Apparitions to Marija. This apparition followed many months of very hard work by a Friend of Medjugorje and the Caritas Community in preparation for Our Lady’s visit. The day before, on September 15, 2014, Our Lady requested that on this day, September 16, only the Community would be present for the apparition. Our Lady appeared before the Rosary was finished, just before 9:00 AM in the morning. After the apparition, Marija got up and motioned to a Friend of Medjugorje to get a piece of paper, which meant that Our Lady had given a message. After Marija received the paper, she then wrote down what Our Lady said. In Marija’s own hand, she wrote:
“When Our Lady came, She immediately said:
“Our Lady blessed us all with Her Motherly Blessing and She prayed over us for a long time. She watched all of us (each face).
Marija also relayed that Our Lady gave a Friend of Medjugorje, his family and the Community gathered in the Bedroom, Her Special Blessing, and then blessed those gathered in the Field with Her regular blessing. Marija choked up with tears in her eyes as she began to relay Our Lady’s words. It was evident to everyone, that Our Lady took notice of every sacrifice we make and every hardship we endure for Her plans.

Dear Caritas, What a beautiful message from Mary to all of you (each face seen). She recognizes all your prayers, hard work and love for Her. She definitely acknowledges it with Her message and with Her Motherly Blessing. It is a wonderful expression of Her love for all of you. Caritas, I too want to thank you. I have recently come to understand how much your prayers for America and for us mean. My family and I have been apart of your mission since 2012. You have taught us so many things. Thank you for taking the time to teach us and to pray for us so that we may teach and pray for others as well. When we get tired we look to you for inspiration and there you are continuing. Where would we be if not for Our Lady, Who never gives up on her children?
