What saves?

Today is the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. Through the Cross we are saved and the victory of Christ over satan was won. Each person, and each nation must face the Cross and accept Jesus if they want peace. Our Lady said on July 30, 1987:
 

“…Many people now live without faith; some don’t even want to hear about Jesus, but they still want peace and satisfaction! Children, here is the reason why I need your prayer: prayer is the only way to save the human race.”

It is for us to respond to this call to prayer. During this time, when the thoughts of many are upon the Presidential election in the United States, no doubt a very important election, each person should keep in mind the words that a Friend of Medjugorje spoke in the July 28, 2016 Mejanomics, Don’t Let it Be ‘Woe’ America:

“…We will fight the battle, but God will give the victory…” 

Each person must be active through their works, and active on their knees. In the foundation of the great Cross that overlooks Caritas in Alabama, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote in concrete the words that have become a signature motto, a battle cry to Jesus:

For the Soul of America

In this time when the soul of America is at stake, turn to the Cross, where Our Lady stands adoring Her Son. Go back to the picture above, meditate on the flag and Cross, and realize Who can save our nation. Get on your knees and pray with your heart: Dear Jesus, give Our Lady the power to save the soul of America. Amen.
