What Kind of Future?

A beautiful sunset in Medjugorje. The sky and clouds bursts forth in an explosion of flame as the sun sets and gives way to nighttime. In the same way, Our Lady is leading us to a future that is ready to burst forth.

If one prays, it is possible to know the future because Our Lady tells us clearly:

December 2, 2011 

“…as a mother I am with you so that with my love, prayer and example I may help you to become a seed of the future…”

We are to become a seed of the future. What kind of future? A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in 1998:
 

“Heaven is about to burst open to fill the earth with actions of grace, supernatural happenings, manifesting into a time of peace, ushered in by Mary, the woman who is given reign and charged with peace as a Queen over a kingdom, titled appropriately the Queen of Peace.

“How can all this be stated with such authority? It is simple. It is in the messages of Our Lady. One cannot see it if he approaches the messages with his intellect rather than with the heart. Our Lady is impatient for Her reign of peace to begin. Where does the authority come from to say Our Lady is impatient? – from Our Lady Herself on June 25, 1995:
 

“…Pray for peace so that as soon as possible a time of peace, which my heart waits impatiently for may reign…”

“Does not the key to all these things taking place, for Heaven’s cloud to pour forth its blessings and peace upon the world, rest in our actions?” ¹

What kind of actions does the future require of us now? Our Lady said on December 2, 2011:
 

“…For you to become a seed of the future, a seed of love, implore the Father to forgive you your omissions up to now. My children, only a pure heart, unburdened by sin, can open itself and only honest eyes can see the way by which I desire to lead you…”

It is time to look at oneself with honest eyes, in reflecting on one’s omissions up to now. Those omissions include those times one has not let themself be led by Our Lady. She is giving the direction in this time. She is leading. So much action is required of us. It is as a Friend of Medjugorje recently said in a Mejanomics broadcast:

“…We have been praying for years, it is time for action…”²

Pray and act. Be a seed of the future, a future that will be the reign of Mary the Queen, Mary the Mother.
