Our Lady of Medjugorje recently said:
Friday, October 21, 2016:
“…Pray dear children for peace—for peace. May peace come to reign in people’s hearts, because from a peaceful heart, a peaceful world is born…”
Four days later on October 25, 2016:
“…Today I am calling you: pray for peace…”
Four days later, on Friday, October 28, 2016:
“…Especially, dear children, through this time, I am calling you: pray for peace. May there be peace, dear children…”
On Saturday, October 29, we received the following letter:
“I have been reading the information on the Patriotic Rosary and the messages of all those who are participating. Since I am an American but living in Norway it is very moving and exciting to me to read how many are praying and fasting for America!”

And just a day before, we received this following letter:
“…I prayed the Rosary on the day you prayed in Philadelphia. I went into an empty Church and prayed, as I never have before for the future of the USA. May God bless you all. Thank you…”

As we call to mind today and in these next days, the souls of those who have died and pray for them, that their souls rest in peace, let us not forget the Soul that is on the threshold of dying, and that through our prayers can revive to a new life. The holy and prophetic words that a Friend of Medjugorje etched in the foundation of the great Cross on Penitentiary Mountain1 at Caritas:
For the Soul of America
We do not have to say R.I.P. America yet, like a Friend of Medjugorje said about Ireland.2 We still have time. Remember this week to pray for the Soul of America, and in a special way for the intentions of peace that Our Lady has for America, and the whole world. Tonight, the Caritas Community will be praying in the community cemetary3 for all of our loved ones who have died and we will be remembering also the soul of America.

Notes:
1. For the Soul of America, these prophetic words by a Friend of Medjugorje were etched into the foundation of the Cross on Penitentiary Mountain at Caritas. For more information about this read the Medjugorje Headline, For the Soul of America
2. A Letter to Ireland, the May 22, 2015 writing from a Friend of Medjugorje, in which the words “R.I.P. Ireland” were written, became the single-most defining letter about the marriage referendum in Ireland. We have witnessed since that time, a division of those who stand for God and His Law, and those who tolerate sinful behavior, yet call themselves Christians. As if an earthquake is breaking the ground between them, the gap between these two groups are widening, and we are seeing the first rumblings of this quake happening in America today.

My sister Irene and I have been praying the Patriotic Rosary and the other novena prayers for the upcoming election. Since it’s difficult to get together every week, we pray over the phone! 🙂 God bless you all!
