BVM Caritas Medjugorje pilgrim on Apparition Mountain today, May 31, 2017.
Today, was the first day of the BVM Caritas Medjugorje Pilgrimage. The May/June 2017 Medjugorje Pilgrimage was the group that a Friend of Medjugorje worked to bring the pilgrimage to below cost, subsidizing it in order to encourage more people to go to Medjugorje. One woman on the BVM Caritas Pilgrimage group, said today that she heard about Medjugorje when it first started 36 years ago, and has been wanting to go, but never thought she would ever make it. She is here in Medjugorje, after 36 years of waiting to come! When we wait for God to act, He acts beyond our hopes.
Many people remember that a few months ago, in March, when the special 72-hour BVM Caritas pilgrimage sale took place, by a remarkable working of grace, we raised the funds for K.G.* to go to Medjugorje in just 3 hours! K.G. had only learned of Medjugorje a few years ago and was told by a friend to visit Mej.com. K.G. had a deep longing to go to Medjugorje, not even with any hope that it could be possible. People stepped forward and took part in giving. K.G. told us today in Medjugorje, that she had no idea what was going on behind the scenes until she came to Mej.com and read what was happening. Several who helped K.G. get to Medjugorje are on this pilgrimage group. When we wait for God to act, He acts beyond our hopes.
A Friend of Medjugorje has structured BVM Caritas Medjugorje Pilgrimages to operate at high-efficiency, so that costs could be kept low, making it possible for more people to be able to afford a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. All of Caritas is structured this way. A Friend of Medjugorje has been guiding many things, behind-the-scenes, towards being postured for the time of the Great Evangelization.
