Our Lady of Medjugorje said on January 2, 2018 through Mirjana:
“…you who do love my Son, you who carry Him in your heart, pray, pray and in praying feel my Son beside you. May your soul breathe in His spirit…”
Are we creating the place for the spirit of Our Lady’s Son to be beside us?
Cross Mountain dominates the view over the village and cemetery on a cold morning in Medjugorje. The view of the Cross on the mountain in Medjugorje is a constant reminder of Jesus and His sacrifice. Keeping the Cross of Jesus in view, keeps Him in our thoughts.
In our homes, place of business, etc., have we created a place for Jesus to be a reminder to us and others throughout our day? A Friend of Medjugorje writes:
“There’s a difference between a house and a home, and even a bigger difference between a Christian home and a non-Christian home. Your home is a reflection of you, and you are called to be a reflection of Jesus…”1
When people visit your home and place of work, do they know they are at the place of a Christian? Through keeping Jesus and Mary in our hearts, it should reflect in our immediate surroundings of home, workplace, etc. In keeping our homes and businesses as a reflection of our Christian beliefs, we help others to breathe in this spirit. In the coming days and months of 2018, keep Jesus and Our Lady beside you, in your heart, and physically with constant reminders which surround you. Make your workplace and home with visible reminders of God. In doing so, you will in all you do, breathe in His spirit. It does not have to be overbearing, but humble reminders of Who we believe in, will help others to believe.
